in regards to Audrey and Ember being friends... its more like becoming friend/enemies bonding over their mutual hate/dislike of Mal, plus Audrey doesn't want the VKs there and Ember doesn't want to be there in the first place. Also Audrey may have to apologize to Ember, though I feel Ben should be the one apologizing since he was the one who automatically assumed that the VKs learned how to swim; his little assumption was part of the near death experience for Ember...

AHHHHHHHHH! HOLY CRAP WAS NOT EXPECTING YOU USE MY IDEA BUT I LOVE YOU FOR IT! I always get excited when someone likes one of my idea/suggestions and decides to use them in their story {the first author to use an idea/suggestion of mine was Caladhiel999 for the story My Immortal Love, the ending of ch.35 was originally in Fili's POV but I thought Fili's words were expected since at the time he is the lover of the OC, and said Ori would get major brownie points from the other dwarves if he was the one to say what Fili had said. Next day when I reread the chapter low and behold Caladhiel999 changed it to what I had put in my review. It's a good story if you want to read it} :D
the encounter with Herb is hilarious yet disturbing at the same time due to the fact that he doesn't realize that he's related to Ember... that will be an interesting revelation

since when would a VK allow themselves to be manhandled like that? I can see a friendship between Audrey and Ember happening strange as it seems...

Mal will probably have a field day with the fact that Ember nearly drown before she did; maybe anyways... I can see Mal laughing it up due to the sibling hatred of one having what the other wants (Ember having their father's love, Mal having their bio mother's love).

rather freak out like that (though its completely understandable), why not have her get pissed enough that she actually uses her power to evaporate the water? her vision could still go black like it does at the end of the chapter, maybe have her powers kick in (instinct) enough to evaporate the water? still a good chapter though

You have no idea how your update helped me on the day of adding that it was a bad day for me ...
And well, it seems that Ember has trauma with water, it will be interesting to discover more things about her.

Quick questions

1) Will Ember continue being paired with Harry? I just ask because Harry is a frequent pairing for an OC character and sometimes it starts to feel overused, plus the whole characters only have one boyfriend who they marry in the future trope. I actually think it would be more interesting to see OC with others in the future.

2) Even if Harry/Ember is the end pairing in this story can we see some guys have crushes on Ember. For example, I think it would be funny to see Chad have a crush only to be turned down multiple times . I might like Chad redemption stories but I also love stories where he suffers.

3) Will Ember make her own group of friends with AK’s? Will we see Hercules children? Also, will Persephone be attending Parents day?

should have smacked Mal with the guitar for that mocking comment... great job though. please tell me there's not going to be a lot of that crappy sappy sisterly bonding between Mal and Ember that other authors have done (the ones that choose to give Mal a blood related sister); also don't let Evie take over Ember's wardrobe (I am not a fan of Evie... never saw the point in her character)
