Well... this feels mostly a novelization of the game's chapters, so not much to say here. But 45 is always a win, right?

I had to remind myself this is the same story of 45 and 9's conflicting thoughts. Really, the change in characters is noticeable. Not saying this is bad by any means.

The ever present doubts of M4 are here, troubling her decision-making program and disrupting her ability to think clearly. Is a good thing that the Commander recovered his abilities because M4 will need them. Keep up the good work fella.

My man commander being smooth as F**k at that scene. This is already becoming my favorite GFL fanfic as far as I can search. Even with a somewhat short chapters, the way you handle the pacing and story telling is superb. Truly, a hidden gem within the sea of Fanfic. net

A little suggestion about the story; except for dialogues, it would be better if you address them with numbers instead of words. Examples like “9” instead of “nines”. Of course, this is just based on my preferences.

Overall, I’ll will await the next arc with great interest. Keep up the good work!

Oh God. This... is beautiful.

You know, deep emotions are usually difficult to express in writting. Okay, maybe *not* difficult per se, but when they are vague and deep, and also not known by their owner, is a challenge to write and express them.

What you did here felt incredible, despite that. The climax and end of the 404 arc, the final thoughts of both 45 and the commander as they close their own private deal and 45 comes to terms with her... its... erm, her feelings, I was hyping all over it honestly. This is a piece of art, and I'm honestly enjoying myself without having me to force myself to. Excellent work at this one.

P.S. Random thought after reading the chapter: Commander is giving a briefing to his dolls when suddenly Kalina asks, confused, "Commander, why is an oath ring missing from the inventory?" And then the dolls question themselves and all hell breaks loose. (Yeah, I know it wasn't a real oath ring (maybe) but the idea was too fun).

Heartwarming ending. I'm glad that 45 for a happy end with the Commander. I'm hoping this isn't the end for the 404 squad though. 45's relationship with the commander is an extremely delicate but understandable situation, and the way you wrote them, from 45's fox-like demeanor degrading into this shell shocked veteran, and the commander being the one who brought her back to the light, is absolutely beautiful.

I'm guessing now that 404 is mostly finished, the AR Team will be the focus?

I have no clue how you can capture the characters so perfectly. Every paragraph is just so captivating. I didn't expect the chapter to get so heated so fast and then cool down so fast. I hope UMP45 and the Commander have a happy ending together ;_;

aww, that was nice. And i feel like UMP 40's gonna do something, risque, to the commander.
