I'm finding myself interested. Looking forward to see how you progress with this. Though I am curious, is this really the same peridot and spinel from cannon? Or are they a different (by which I mean a separate gem of the same name/gemstone) version from the cannon gems that will meet Steven?

Also, I got to ask why did you pick the name Blake? It isn't a bad name or anything. It's just that when I read the name Blake it made me think of the character Blake Belladonna. A cat Faunus girl from a show called RWBY. Which a lot of the characters first name are named after a color. Which for Blake her color that she name was after is Black.

I'm just curious about that.
