It's kind of odd to see Dib in distress for falling off a cliff. It's just so mundane compared to his usual problems. Actually, this fic is kind of like that a lot, because while L&S is fairly grounded by sci-fi cartoon standards, now we have Zim and GIR around, screaming nonsense.

Membrane's definitely hiding something. My main thought is that you're going to bring in the whole "made as a science experiment" concept. A good way to retroactively justify most of IZ's cartoon physics.

I expected it to take longer before they found out about Tak, so I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next.

my one complaint: Zim did not say words for ridiculously long times.
like it would make sense for om to have said
"Punish theeeEEEEEEEEEEEEEEM!"

Also, too bad "smarter than the rest" isn't measured with the average IZ character as a baseline, otherwise any L&S character would be immune.
