alright, this is great and all, but what about the whole "time preserves itself" law of magic? if it didn't preserve itself, the combat training loop of [Orion › Sirius › Eden › Young Orion] wouldn't have existed.
And if time doesn't preserve itself, we already aren't in the original 1945, because Eden is changing it, or even the second version of 1945, because the aforementioned looping of combat training had to have initiated from someone in the past, and Eden's future's Orion learned it during his school years, from Eden

Also, I don't think Magic would appreciate circumventing paying its price

Apart from that, I loved it. I prefer the Alternative ending to anything else. I always wanted her to be able to go to Tom on a more regular basis, but I guess all Magic comes with a Price. Poor Eden.
I wonder how how Eden will react when meeting Lucius, Sirius and Narcissa as well as all the others when they're young .. that could be fun.

So I got way behind on reading this fic but today I dived back in and marathon read like fifteen chapters and I enjoyed every second of it! It is most definitely the mark of a good fic when you can go months without reading it, jump back in and still remember it as though you had just read the preceding chapters. Your detail and creativity are incredible, you are incredible! Thank you for allowing me to spend the day with characters I love and I can't wait to read more!
