Syanna Vodka chapter 15 . 4/23 I recently saw a top ten of the best mothers on television. Kitty Forman was ranked number 1. She would be jumping with joy and I was more than agree. Her relationship with everyone is too beautiful. And her ways of dealing with Red, something that you portrayed perfectly well here when she sent him to look under the car so that he would fix something and not hinder her. Wonderful. The whole story was. This should be on That '70s Show Fanfic Worth Reading, I always come in to see if there is anything new. I suffered with Hyde while he waited alone and sad. When he admitted that he was in love with Jackie and that staying alive wasn't enough for him, my heart broke a little. Damn, I didn't remember Jackie's mother being so nasty. I watched the program many times but honestly, for me the good chapters ended with the arrival of Pam. There everything began to take a strange course. I always watch the show again, I just watch until her arrival, then it's a bitter drink. I was left with the wrong impression or am I not that bad? A while ago I saw The Angriest Man in Brooklyn. There was a scene where Mila Kunis called her mother depressed, in Wisconsin and the mother was busy talking about other things and did not pay attention to her and when the call hangs up, without hearing a word she ends up more depressed than she was. I liked the situation to adapt it in my story, I think it fits perfectly. It really seemed like a situation between Jackie and Pam. I loved what you did here with Jackie protesting, Hyde supporting her by her side, and both backed by Red and Kitty. The best I have read not only in this fandom, but in general. Really, I don't know what you do in your free time or what you work or study, but you would make a lot of money if you did this because you are very good, girl. And i mean it. Pam's retraining seemed very organic to me, not forced at all. You even fixed her character as well, because in the end she wants to have a positive relationship with her daughter and make the effort to change her ways for her. She even cares about Jackie here and seems to love her, and that's more than what was seen on the show, and it was necessary. Lisa I have had an incredible time and I am regaining my love for this couple, thank you very much for making this quarantine more bearable. I will continue reading your old stories, and I hope that any time you give us a new one: P Hugs! |
Syanna Vodka chapter 14 . 4/22 Fanfiction is not working, lalalala. I try to take it with humor because just thinking that I am talking to myself and answering myself for hours makes me want to break everything. And, damn, I live alone and I'm in quarantine! I've been doing that for 35 days ! At least I keep the illusion that you read the messages and I will have a response and fanfiction is killing that illusion. And it takes a long time to translate what I'm thinking, look up the dictionary and put together a sentence. Lately I'm thinking that this Covid-19 is a plot just to screw me and fanfiction is collaborating with that right now. Probably in a year or two when I go out I will be like Brendan Fraser in Blast from the Past. OMG, I'm really losing my mind! Anyway, since I do not know if this works or not, I will speak openly and without embarrassment because at least I am speaking to another living being, and that my friend, is a novelty these days and I will take advantage of it until I get juice. And since I do not have a boyfriend or a random boy to give me joy, I will throw myself fully into the fantasy of fandom as a lonely thirty-year-old that I am in a lonely quarantine, and I will talk about the characters as if they were real. I just want to talk to someone about anything before I lose what little social skills I have left. I remain hopeful that I will return to normality in the future, so please be this mental lapse when this is all over, ignore it. Outside of all this I am quite normal, I swear. Anyway, I always thought Jackie's father would appreciate Hyde more than Kelso. Even before they came out, when Hyde was still living with Edna. And he would appreciate him even more after he got out of jail, because Hyde was the one who held her back. At the beginning of the series he doesn't seem to care about the social status of the others, it even seems that he is a friend of the Forman's, so that could be totally cannon, right? Even Jackie's mother was more normal and not as dumb as the sad role they gave Brooke Shields, (they could have taken more advantage of that actress, by the way). But as he said, Jackie's father was even closer to her at the beginning and they showed him as an attentive and loving father, who was strict when he should. So I think he really wouldn't have had much against Hyde, beyond his humility. Another point to highlight, I love Donna's character. You kept her with the essence that she had at the beginning. The writers also damaged her character and because of this she is one of my least favorites, but you reminded me that at first I liked her. And the story is ending. How short things last when I enjoy them. I take this space to ask you when you will return, or if you are writing something new. Or are you still writing that mystery story you told me about? I would send you a PM but after all these reviews I'm afraid you are going to think that I am crazy or I am a stalker. I would also send you a PM just to ask how you are, but believe it or not, I'm a shy person. |
Syanna Vodka chapter 13 . 4/22 The reviews still do not appear and I am starting to exasperate, I maintain the faith that you are receiving them but they do not even appear in the history of reviews from my account, it worries me a lot. Once we talked about how much good it would have done to the plot of the show if Jackie had continued working and how much good it would have done to her as personal growth and character. Something that is never mentioned in the show is if Jackie or if someone in her family knows how to play the piano or if only the piano is there to give a touch of sophistication to the room, I liked that you gave importance to that detail and some talent Jackie. Aside from the cheerleaders, makeup, hair, clothes, Nancy Drew and her interest in being in front of a television camera, it was never mentioned on the show that she had any talent or hobby about anything, right? I try to remember, but I don't remember much more than watching her play chess or Monopoly. The only thing I saw her with a lot of interest was about fixing cars and they took it from her now that I think about it, that's strange, because she was not the typical silly cheerleader and she did her homework on Saturdays and many Sometimes she proved to be very intelligent, although she did not brag about it. What I saw in the eighth season I do not take into account. There is more to Jackie than you might think, if you get to analyze it in detail, right? Hyde's character is built that way on purpose, to read between the lines and anyone can see his intentions. Maybe as I am a fan of the show I am analyzing everything too much but Jackie may seem at first glance more stiff than the rest of them, but it is not so. I am rambling but I have no one to talk to about this and you are the one who knows the most. About the chapter; I was shocked when Jackie suggested they get married. It wasn't the psychopathic girlfriend Jackie desperate to get married we saw in season seven, it was just a girl in love trying to save the boy she loves. It was a sweet moment. "We'd need our folk consent, and you won't get that ... and I have no folks." - The last part was so heartbreaking and sadly true ... And the part of Jackie planning to invent a baby was just delicious. And that ending, I really didn't see it coming. |
Syanna Vodka chapter 12 . 4/22 "Steven kissed Jackie's cheek as the flash went off. Her skin tingled at the contact, and she giggled. She hadn't expected him to be so romantic" - I loved you so much for that line. And I consider this totally faithful to the character of Hyde, he really had a very strong romantic streak when he proposed it with little details. I also like that you stop to develop Hyde's softer side and Jackie's innate sweetness. "They're finally gonna make the beast with two backs." - I laughed a lot and out loud with that expression, it took me by surprise and I had never heard it. I'm going to wait for my chance to tell someone because it's too funny. The sex scene was very tender and sweet to read. I've written a few of them but I always have to turn it down a few volts because somehow it's more for an erotic book than a fanfiction. I always assumed that the intimacy between them was quite intense, a bit mischievous and romantic. I know that Kelso sometimes implied that Jackie was a bit basic in sex and that she didn't like doing many things, but I think it was more due to him than to her. We already know that he didn't last long in bed and he was too self-centered, selfish to notice. And Jackie knew no other way. The description of the entire scene is what every person in the world deserves for their first time. The two showed love for each other. I also liked that she lost her virginity with him. Both deserved to have more people in the show who would take care of them and make them feel more loved, unique and special. That is another important point that you have arranged here. Also like the fact that here they first built solid foundations in their relationship before having sex. In short, this is a perfect example of what a perfect story should be like. |
Syanna Vodka chapter 11 . 4/22 The best chapter in history, by far. It was incredible, I loved this completely. I like the sense of unity that you gave the couple and how they take care of each other, I love seeing these kinds of things, and they are not very common, unfortunately. What I never understood, (sorry for my ignorance) that they are actually graduating? That confuses me a little. Here in Argentina you only graduate when you finish school completely and we don't give it that much importance either. Seniors only organize a one or two week trip to the mountains and maybe meet at a disco on the last day of school, but they don't go in pairs. So I'm a little clueless now about why it seems to be important. Is the class ring important too? When are they given? The girls get one too? I know there are many questions but I see this kind of thing all the time in movies but I never really understood it and when I ask some friends they don't know what to say to me either. Anyway, I have regained my love for Jackie and Hyde, who was a little asleep. You are amazing, Lisa! |
Syanna Vodka chapter 10 . 4/22 This was the most dramatic episode of all. It was hard for me to imagine Jackie being so willing and Hyde letting her in. Still, it seemed like a necessary step in their relationship, making it even more solid. |
Syanna Vodka chapter 9 . 4/22 This chapter has been amazing and everything has happened so naturally that it seems real. I like that the group berates Kelso for his behavior and does something about it. 70 'or not, bullying of any kind is never funny. I do not know if it was the intention of the show but at the end with all of them and as adults that friendship was a bit quite toxic, that's why I really like how you corrected it and found the way out. Especially the relationship of Jackie and Hyde, is starting in a healthy way, and there is no unnecessary drama, which by the way is quite original and I really like how it turned out. |
Syanna Vodka chapter 8 . 4/22 I have enjoyed this chapter so much. I really liked the dynamics of the group and the growth of Jackie as a character. You should dedicate yourself to this, did you know? I would buy your books and be the president of your fan club without hesitation :) PS I still don't see the reviews I'm leaving you. |
Syanna Vodka chapter 7 . 4/22 I am checking the reviews and the last one the first time I sent it, it appeared to me that it was uploaded successfully but I do not see that it has entered: S It was long and now I am angry, maybe it has reached your email? I keep them anyway, because I check the dictionary and the translator frequently. So if it did not arrive, tell me and I will forward it to you. On the other hand, I really enjoyed this chapter. I feel like that's how everyone should have been from the start on the show. You even portray very well the interpersonal relationships of all the characters and these evolve throughout the course of the story. You always handle that very well, the characterization of the characters is perfect for you and apart from that you give them very real motivations to be who they are and what they want. |
Syanna Vodka chapter 6 . 4/22 Hi! The quarantine made me read and reread absolutely everything on fanfiction. I was saving you for last, because after reading some things you are a breath of fresh air. I just realized that I owe you several reviews of the last chapters, my fault; I went on vacation and read the final chapters from another laptop and I did not remember my password. At the risk of appearing repetitive, I would like to tell you again that I really enjoy your stories every time I read them again. Once I finish reading this, I'm going to do a marathon of your other stories. If possible I will leave reviews in each chapter, at least in those that I have not left before because fanfiction does not let me, so prepare for a flood of emails letting you know that you have new messages. Please don't think I'm a stalker, I've been in quarantine for over a month, I only go out to go to the supermarket once a week, so ... I'm walking the walls by now. I'm about to become Jack Nicholson in "The Shining". I've already seen Game of Thrones, Stranger Things, Breaking Bad, The Middle, Mom, Two and a Half Man, The big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon. There is no longer a nook in my house without cleaning and I am not one of those who exercise, I just don't know what to do. I'm afraid I'm going to lose my mind, lol. But seriously, I've been thinking about you and Prissy a lot. I know that the quarantine is not as strict as here but I really hope, with all my heart, that both are well and healthy. I send you a bear hug and get ready for all the reviews. Lux. |
Guest chapter 15 . 3/31 That was a roller coaster from start to finish. You're a great writer. I could not stop myself from reading, because every chapter left me wanting more. Thank you for writing this. As a Zennie fan, this is a top notched fic. One of my favorites. |
Anony chapter 15 . 3/16 Loved it! |
reptilegirl chapter 15 . 3/2 Loved it |
firefawn chapter 13 . 2/28 So I have to applaud you on this chapter and Stevens hesitance to admit he needs help. It's just very realistically done and the end scene is hilarious. |
firefawn chapter 15 . 2/28 Dang that was great! I hope there's more to come! |
