I loved that Hermione and Harry ended up together
Guest chapter 18 . 5/26
Omg why doesn’t this story have more reviews I loved it! I’ve loved the trilogy so far. So much fun watching a fairly realistic development between relationships while still keeping mystery suspense and action.

Thanks a lot for writing!

Love the way this worked out!

Godric laughed. "So concerned with Voldemort. He was but a small player in the story." That will certainly put a crimp in his personal hell. I'm sure he thought he was the "baddest" wizard on the planet in his or any other time. He!He!

Draco, Draco ... Will you never learn, you presumptuous little insect? I wish we could see a Squib Lucius. Really, it's the perfect payback for all of those Mudblood comments. Personally, I think the survivors of all those he tortured and killed should be allowed some "special" time with him. I do hope he is put in Azkaban near the Dementors. It's only fair. It's going to be hard on Draco, though. Somehow, I rather doubt the old threat of "Wait till my father hears ..." is going to have the same impact it once had.

I guess Harry and Hermione will eventually get together, although I've come to kind of like Kristi. I definitely liked Hermione a lot better in the last part of the story than I did in the previous two years.

I'm glad Sirius is finally getting married, Remus is returning to teaching, McGonagall has the Marauders Map, and Fawkes seems to have adopted Harry. It all seems right.

Good saga ... I really enjoyed it.

So the sword was able to work against the Orb? Interesting about the air being fresh. I would think that all of the evil in the Orb would be released, unless it was pulled out of time into somewhere else.

Sadly, it seems Harry may have died this time. Perhaps that was the price to truly rid the world of evil. :( But then, Harry can never truly be counted out, can he? I guess we'll see.
missgsmith51 chapter 16 . 9/13/2016
Why would Harry bring that dangerous Orb to school? That puts him on a par with Dumbledore and the Philosopher's Stone ... except that the bad guys snagged it this time. I have a feeling Harry has doomed them all.

Hermione needs to be careful. Betraying Harry is not a good way to go, even if she thinks she is helping.

I find myself wondering ... Could Gallah be Voldemort's new form? What if he died in the big attack with Cho, and he used the rebirthing ritual again to get a new body. It could account for a lot of things: the fact that Harry felt he seemed familiar, his menace toward Harry, his closeness with Malfoy. It's probably far fetched, but it seems like something that could happen.
missgsmith51 chapter 14 . 9/13/2016
I have a bad feeling about Arthur becoming Minister. I think he is a good one for the job, but it just paints a HUGE target right on him and their entire family, as well. I'm kind of surprised that Gallah gave up so easily. I'm sure he is a Death Eater - or at least a Voldemort supporter. Harry thought he looked familiar, and he is certainly menacing. I would bet he was at the scene of R.J.'s death, or at least had something to do with it.

I suppose Ron will be even more crass with the remarks about Kristi now that Harry's had an official date with her.
missgsmith51 chapter 13 . 9/12/2016
So now we know what that Orb thing is. I wonder if it can be destroyed with Gryffindor's sword. It would be nice to remove it as a threat.

I wonder if Snape's detention is a real one or if he wants more info from Harry on dodging curses and manipulating the elements.
missgsmith51 chapter 12 . 9/12/2016
Well, Gallah has laid his dirty git cards on the table and made some pretty strong threats. I hope someone publishes his connections to the Malfoys. It sounds like they are, for once, persona non grata by a good portion of the Wizarding community. I hope it holds.

Maybe Harry should transfer to Beauxbatons, where he is less accessible to Gallah. Of course, he would need to take Hermione and probably Ginny in order to keep them safe.

Speaking of Hermione, she'd better get with the program and make her feelings known to Harry. She can explain that she's not trying to push him into a relationship or take advantage of his vulnerable state; but she doesn't want to lose this chance because she was afraid to speak out. Otherwise, she is going to get pushed out by Ginny, who is making no secret of her feelings this time.
missgsmith51 chapter 11 . 9/12/2016
I thought so. I wonder if she hocked the ring and spent the money on her new, more risqué wardrobe. Well, now Harry can find someone good who will treat him better. I must say Cho is pretty low-class for not breaking up with Harry before going public. I wonder what her father will say.

Too bad Harry asked Myrtle to the dance; he could have asked Hermione after all. Bummer.
missgsmith51 chapter 10 . 9/12/2016
Kristi is an intriguing character. She does seem to flirt with Harry, but it isn't really sexual. I kind of think she seems like Sirius's type. He is probably how she found out about the fundraiser. One thing is certain: If Kristi is there with Harry and Cho is not seen, there will be a big, ugly article about it in tomorrow's Prophet.

I noticed Cho didn't sign her note "Love," nor did she say "I love you." Despite her comments about her family loving Harry and everyone working on the wedding, I think she is pulling away from Harry. I also have a weird feeling about her having so much access to his money. So much is mentioned about how much money Harry makes and how much R.J. left him that I can't tell if we're being set up to find that Cho has cleaned out Harry's accounts or if this is just a trail of red herrings. I do think something is going on that she isn't telling him.
missgsmith51 chapter 7 . 9/12/2016
I think Hermione was hoping Harry would hold off asking Cho to marry him, perhaps so that she could wedge her toe in that door over the course of the school year. I guess that ship has sailed.

The odd thing is that Cho seems to be very caught up in Harry's fame right now. She seems to be trying to "remake" him from the person he is into some hot-shot sports playboy who cashes in on his celebrity. That isn't Harry at all. Flashing her ring around and making their engagement known to the reporter before he's had a chance to tell his friends is not going to make them very happy. I can already hear Ron whining about it.

Well, we know the voice probably isn't Hermione, since she knows about the whole elemental thing. And Cho spent a week with Harry while he was playing with it. So ... Sirius? Dumbledore?
missgsmith51 chapter 6 . 9/12/2016
That was interesting, kind of like the Vulcan Mind Meld. So Hermione knows not only Harry's past but also his future? Does she see how his heart is going to be broken ... or who is going to do it?

I think it was rather unfair of Fletch to put Harry in a position of having to lie, even by omission, to Dumbledore. Not only that, he has endangered Harry by giving him that Orb. I hope he makes it unsummonable from its hiding place, or anyone who gets into his home could easily get it. Hermione has also been placed in danger by his sharing the knowledge with her. And unfortunately, she might tell Dumbledore, if she thinks it's for Harry's own good. (Remember the Firebolt.) I'm not sure why Harry keeps sharing things with her that are supposed to remain secrets. Perhaps, deep down, he actually does love her. I wonder what it will take for him to know. Maybe understanding not only her own but also his feelings now, SHE will settle down and be the friend he needs.

I wonder if Hermione will tell Harry what happened to her ... or is it okay for HER to keep secrets from HIM?
