Tron1112 chapter 3 . 2/14
this was both adorable and awesome.

but still, ever vidulent, i do not renounce my hiss of "Elvvvvvvvvs."
Tron1112 chapter 2 . 2/14
i found myself doing a goggle impression saying "ugh... elves." and then realizing what i said... and giggling.
love the story so far even if i find the empire really pretentious.
tron1112 chapter 1 . 2/14
i mean...i like it. there basically elves but now kitsune and just a bit to perfect, but yeah, i like it allot.
then again, compared to mass effect... i guess utopian abundance with all of that this sort of empire is very very easy to establish.
well! i'm gonna binge read the rest of it now, cheeri'o!.

random dude NATT chapter 6 . 1/7
I read the story, and I can clearly see this is a human bash fic. Can't rightly care to be honest, but I am going to point that out since you forget one of the most important factors when it comes to humans that they do adapt and will go full tilt on any advantage they can. For instance cybernetics, and quantum processing with Neural links. Those three combinations will even the field. It would be the ultimate form aside from full synthetic body to outpace and evolve drastically fast. What would take years months, decade years, and centuries decades.

The hyper communication array from the latest patches that allows ship wide communication through the entire galaxy for coordination can be used like the science nexus center only several time more powerful mainly geared towards processing potential and optimization on multiple facets.

That is just being factual really. Psionics is powerful, but you basically are trying to keep humans the same as the Mass effect game instead of allowing them to go the route they actually will go logically. It does not take all of humanity, but just a very, very small group to become excellent which will drive others to follow. We see this happening now every year.
dutchsoldier chapter 3 . 1/8
While I love the different perspectives shown and how the story is told I have a few issues with the Auri as a species (wrote this review at chapter three so might be talking about things found in later chapters, I'm sorry if so.)

A few things I wish to note down is that unless found for the most part in another civilizations ruins then bettered slightly due to sheer curiosity by themselves, a species like the Auri as you describe them would not have any weapons or even much in the way of actual advanced technology in general other than some primitive guns to blow up asteroids (and thats if they even got to space in the first place which would be unlikely.). They never had predators to fight, their planet was so naturally affluent with fertile lands they would never need to advance in agriculture to prevent starvation, due to their links they have been a unified people pretty much since gaining sentience. This in combination with the link taking away a need to explore the home planet which would found the idea of exploring the stars... these people literally have no reason to have advanced beyond the stone age at worst, iron age at best untill either A another species finds them or B they literally get close to 99% of it gifted to them by something outside of said earlier mentioned link, like say an intentionally forgotten alien overlord.

Awesome fic, never really played Stellaris but i've watched a decent amount. I like the way you've diverged this story from canon, keep it up!

You're alive!
Very happy to see a new chapter!

First of all, I still love the little keywords and occasional mentioned of certain techs. Just little things like afterburners being a thing is a good reminder that there's definitely some Stellaris stuff here. I smiled just reading that line, I do hope to continue to see stuff like that.

And I also really enjoyed seeing how the psychic stuff factors into the battles. You can easily see how creepy that kind of thing would be in their situation.

Anyways, I don't have much else to say, except I wish it was longer.
Thank you for updating, looking forward to more :)
Doomeater chapter 6 . 1/5
I really like this story so far, it's quite rare to see a Stellaris and Mass Effect crossovers; and this story may have inspired me to write one of my own.

I can't wait to see what happens next
Uberch01 chapter 6 . 1/5
Auri've used Psi-Panic,
It's super effective.
Turians used War Crime,
It's super effective.
Humans used revenge.
It's super effective.
Asari used Outrage,
It's, you guessed it, SUPER EFFECTIVE!

Coment9 chapter 6 . 1/5
Three hours? Shouldn’t it be a bit longer? I mean the ME drive only allows ships to travel FTL so a trip to Shanxi should take more then just under a half a day.
