| Eighteen Monkeys chapter 9 . 4/27 I like this fic. I do. I'd love it a lot more if there was less exposition though. The capes getting "briefed" taking 15 minutes to go through doesn't read as believable—I feel more like it's you, the author, giving me information rather than a capes being told the situation. It's a briefing after all, it's meant to be brief. A lot of info about the students, the bullying, and the process by which that info was gathered is given, even when the capes are in the middle of a situation that could flare up immediately. New triggers have their powers explained to people who don't need to know RIGHT NOW. It pulls you out of the situation a bit. I don't like it. That said, I'mstill looking forward to more chapters. I enjoy this fic, and I only really comment on things that grab my attention. Keep it up. |
