Josuke was called "Jojo" at The start of the series by the bullies.

This chapter has left me feeling even more disappointed than the last one. First of all, the fact that Josuke's story is skipped over makes Midoriya's turnaround feel incredibly hollow. I certainly showed disdain towards the idea of Josuke trying to use his own story to cheer Midoriya up, but it not even being mentioned and the story just cutting away to Midoriya being better feels super cheap (also, was the sudden change in personality really not because of a Stand? Are we really supposed to take it at face value?). Josuke being the one to get Midoriya to clean up the beach doesn't make sense, either. Josuke's hardly the kind of guy who would put stock in working out, especially if the workout involved garbage, and from a meta perspective, Midoriya shouldn't be doing the same workout he did to be strong enough to control the strongest Quirk in the world just to blow off steam; his reasons for doing this here are too different from canon to make sense. Finally, there's the end of the story where Midoriya has his run in with Todoroki, and everything about that is just terrible. Todoroki shouldn't have been watching him clean up the beach when they don't even live in the same town, and he shouldn't be so willing to talk about personal stuff with someone he's known for all of two seconds. Why are you in such a rush to get Todoroki's arc started? Nothing about what you're doing makes sense.

All in all, this chapter is no better than the last one. Events that should be important are ignored, no one does things for logical reasons, and a lot of decisions are blatantly forced. If there's really four more chapters to this prologue, please use them to correct the mistakes of these first two.

P.S. Midoriya and Josuke calling each other "Izu" and "JoJo" doesn't make any sense. Neither one is a person who addresses someone by nickname-Josuke only called Shigechi "Shigechi" because he introduced himself as such-and literally no one calls Josuke "JoJo", so it's just weird.

P.P.S. Your justification for any OOC behavior for Midoriya is faulty. All Josuke did for Koichi was get him involved in the story; any character development he went through was mostly on his own, and Josuke wasn't even involved in Koichi's biggest fights. Furthermore, you shouldn't make someone OOC to begin with, because that's bad writing.

This is honestly good the only part that is hard to believe for me is morioh having no quirks but I can see that happening with them being discriminated against
