Ok jokes aside, Annie joining the Scouts was NOT what I was expecting. But yenno what? Good choice. Compared to having Annie in the Military Police, putting her in the Scouting Legion is definitely gonna bring those two together wayyyyyy more. They can see each other more frequently, which then allows for more relationship development - oh and not to mention more heat with Mikasa as well. Reiner is undoubtedly happy about this as it's a better opportunity for the plan to go along, and Bertholdt? Poor Bert LOL game so weak, Eren isn't even threatened a bit - AND THE DUDE'S BEEN GETTING PLAYED BY ANNIE FROM THE START. T_T

But actually, speaking of her playing him, it seems to me like they're making progress. Take it with a grain of salt but shihhh, she's starting to accept and allow herself some happiness... or maybe it was because she was just horny, idkkk \_(ツ)_/ But either way, it's still progress. One small step forward is a big leap for her. Eren is absolutely amazing too for not rushing it because he's still very conscious of Annie's inner turmoil. Oh and that, "I want you to have children. And to get married, and to grow old with someone who loves you," from Eren?

Yeah. Sadness.

This is a great chapter, and the deviation of Annie joining the Scouts is definitely an interesting one. I'm looking forward to where you take this story along with such a large change: will she go along with Reiner's plans of seducing Eren back to Marley? Will she kidnap him during their first expedition? Or will she have her own agenda to save Eren and herself from both Marley's and Paradis' machinations? Can't wait!

This chapter felt a bit jarring after reading the previous chapter's dramatic end. I'm not sure if it's how I interpreted it or what, but this chapter felt comedic; Reiner's awkward library encounter and comparisons of ass cheeks being gouged made me chuckle. Of course there's the usual dejection vibes from Eren regarding the enigmatic Annie, but it felt like a funny chapter all in all. Still great and well written, but slightly jarring, although again, that might just be my own personal subjectivity.

Love the way you portrayed Annie's confusion and misgivings regarding being a warrior and having feelings for Eren. It highlights the dichotomy between what she wants and how she acts, and it just feels very accurate. Ymir's minor role is pretty nice too, almost older sisterly (heh, older titan sister) towards Annie and I hope to see more interaction between the two.
Ending the chapter where it did was nice, it conveyed a sense of loss and nihilism that is in tune with the themes of the series.

I see you wanted to spin it around a lil bit and made it Reiner’s PoV this time. I like it, I kinda want more if I’m gonna be totally honest XD . He’s such an asshole but he’s an interesting asshole, yenno? Like you would never hear Eren or even THINK Annie would say his/her “ass is starting to feel gouged. Like someone took a scalpel and gouged the meat right out of (their) cheeks.“ Had me cacklin LMAO, I did not expect to enjoy reading in his PoV so much.

And poor Annie, my girl is getting pushed to the edge with this :/ , it’s not helping that Reiner’s being an ass abt it too... speaking of being an ass, Annie’s being one to Eren too! I’m deddd, I see the assery is trickling down through these poor souls, huh? Smhhh. Eren genuinely has some god-tier patience though, or at least for Annie bc she’s just constantly playing him to the point where it could even be misconstrued as her just using him as a toy for her own pleasure.

Alright, now let’s see what you whipped up for the NEW chapter 5. Thank god you let me know abt it beforehand or else I would have sat for an hour typing up a storm for the old one, ESPECIALLY after seeing how pushed over the edge Annie became, to the point where she’d even rely on alcohol to help solve her problems - BUT THEN MAH BOI EREN SAID NAWW I’M DONE WITH YOUR SHIT, COME TO ME WHEN YOU FUCKIN MEAN IT. They have good chemistry. I like the idea of Eren only being submissive to Annie.

At this point does Eren or Annie know about the curse as this whole talk about wanting Annie to find someone to grow old and have kids with makes me wonder if he does know or if it is more that he expect himself to die for his friends.

That last line from Hange is really painful (why would i not want to spend time with someone just like me) thou had it been Mikasa i would of expected her to defend Eren that he is not a monster but guessing Annie does not want to do that out of fear that emotions might make her spit out thoughts better left unsaid

This is very good. I love the interactions between Annie and Eren. They feel so organic.

What happened to Chapter 5?

Anyone knows why suddenly chapter 5 is erased right after chapter 130 is released?

If it's all the same to you, I'm still imagining them as their canon ages during Trost but I this is a very original take on the Eren/Annie romance so I'll be following this story.

I like the direction you are taking this story, I think this is my favourite chapter so far! The writing and characterizations are really good.
