Sweet, although not exactly how I would have pictured it playing out. Given Tifa's flirtatious nod to him at the end of Advent Children, I always figured they'd hop back in bed together at the earliest mutual convenience.

I think I caught something that may or may not have been intended. About halfway through, where Cloud thinks of her saying she'll take the reigns of the chocobo... was that referring to Tifa asking to ride in the Chocobo Racing arena, or was it meant to be something more suggestive?

When it comes to this fic, Cloud is getting used to everything all over again, easing himself back into his family...and into Tifa. It's Cloud, isn't it? Shy at first, and then slowly reveals all of himself when he realizes it's okay, it's just right to. It was a blast to beta!
