I think the idea of this is amazing. I personally love redemption stories and this is perfect. I’m excited for when Shoto discovers the truth about his father! On another note, I think the “possession” quirk on Endeavor sounds a bit like an Imperious curse from Harry Potter, right :)

I skimmed all, but chapter one, and have only one thing to say to you. CHANGE THE FUCKING SUMMARY. Enji does not suddenly gain control of his body, because he hasn't. Period. Change the summary to maybe "Enji is struggling daily to try, and gain control of his body again. He struggles daily, but maybe obe day he'll finally be free." That a hell of a lot more accurate then "but when Enji finally gets his body, and life back," since that hasn't happened at all.

In conclusion, change the bloody summary. For all those interested in this story based on seeing Enji free, well it ain't happened yet, nor does it seem it will anytime soon.

I was going to submit this comment under my usual name, but I have yet to figure out how to submit more than one review for a single chapter (one of the things which I don't like about this site).

Whether he realizes it or not, Midoriya has obviously stumbled across something with this THWH blog. The question is, did those particular comments come from Dabi or is someone else putting out information which could inspire both Midoriya and Dabi (perhaps this is Enji's means of fighting back during those rare moments when he is in control)

This story starts great, then went on a long exposition on fillers that aren't even slightly connected to the plot.

Like, really, you put down some great idea, give some exposition and back story, then everything else is filler chapters without any end in sight. Disappointing.

Can't wait for this Enji to be free all we really need is for Aizawl to use erasure right? After that they would likely see Endeavour fall back and the possessor lurch out of his body or maybe a dramatic moment like the High End fight where his theme plays combined with the only thing Enji can think of other than trying to fight off the possessor is his family meaning he might remember Touyas face better if your going with the Touya is Dabi theory and it all culminating in a last ditch effort to get free.

No need to apologize over placing academics first. As a student, that's your job, and when push comes to shove it should take priority over leisurely activities such as writing (which is not to say that leisure should be ignored - sometimes you need to take a break from studying - so long as you can afford to take that break).

As far as All Might's past is concerned - not even ultimate fanboy Midoriya Izuku knew anything about All Might's private life prior to becoming his successor (not even his age - although I agree that he's probably at least slightly older than Enji Todoroki). So I think you're probably safe in filling in the blanks however you want (and there are far more blanks than what is known).

Similar with regards to Enji Todoroki's past (which works well for your story). We know his age (he recently turned 46 at the time of this story), that he had a wife and four children, but that he was so obsessed with surpassing All Might that he allowed, either through himself of his children, that he ended up destroying his family (something he only came to recognize after becoming the #1 Hero through default). Other than that about all we know comes through his children, mostly Shoto, and their views may be somewhat biased.

Ironically the one hero who's past we seem to know the most about is the one who most desires to remain in the shadows - Aizawa Shota. And he was probably only born about the time that All Might graduated from UA.

But getting back to the story: Next chapter should have some interesting conversations.

Enji and Toshinori being friends is a rather Interesting idea, one that makes me really wish again that we had a better timeline from before Toshi got injured.

I just found this story, and honestly I love the idea so much Enji better get to beat up the body snatchers eventually, or touya maybe!

This story is awesome! Poor Todorokis though, this is such a mess. Dabi as a detective is great
