Caroline is the only problem in this group at all. But she's so much fun to kick around. You should be able to put your full story back up on FF after a while. Other authors do it. Check into it.

Please don't mark a story as complete, unless you actually upload the whole story.

These days the complete/finished section of P&P stories on ff is flooded with wannabe writers samples of their commercial works. If you want to see, if you can earn money on an authors work (in this case miss Austen), that is up to your moral or lack of, but please don't use ff as an easy way of advertising for your commerical work. Or at the very least don't flood the complete section with samplers only.

Easy rule: if you only upload a sample of a story then don't mark it as complete. It is not rocket science... I don't care, if you have the finished story on your computer or if it can be bought elsewhere, if you don't upload the whole story on ff, then it is not complete on ff.

Unfortunately, this story is not well written enough for me to actually pay for it.

Wouldn't Mary, Kitty and Lydia have been given different names, if they had a different mother?

I wish to read on and I have looked up the book on Amazon. Maybe I can but, not sure. Hope I can, I loved the sample here.

I have now bought and read this story on Kindle. Here is my review.

This is a P&P story with a different premise, namely the 2nd wife of Mr Bennet. It incorporates all of the best loved moments of P&P (the assembly, Jane’s sickness, Hunsford etc) but in a completely different manner. In the end, everyone is a better person at the end of the tale apart from Miss Bingley and Wickham. Lady Catherine recovered after being thoroughly humbled.
