Oh my god you have gone through so much research! Most people would have just... written things but you clearly went to see who was there and what drinks they had during that time. That’s no small feat!

Super adore how all these people we all have known as just names have come to life here. It’s wonderful, I think, to be able to capture the humanness of people like the Zelda, Ernest, and Scott.

And Sarah singing. Glad she is doing that here, I remember her doing that in your first story Ever After and it’s great to see it here again!

Thank you for adding how Jareth and Eimile actually resolved this conflict. Not to just let him go nor to just punish him. They deserve their honeymoon and I’m glad it didn’t turn into another huge fight. This way, they would also ensure safety and responsibility for their kingdom.

Love Sarah’s dress! Peach colored, lol and I’m awful at describing clothes, but you did wonderful. I can totally picture a younger Jennifer Connelly dressed in a flapper dress! And oh my god, I sooo want to go to Paris now. Wonderful writing and it’s interesting how Ernest recognizes Jareth!

I want to say how much I love Sarah and Eimile being close, to be such sisters especially when Eimile and Jareth are always harping on each other! Well done!

Also Jareth being a butt is 100% Jareth. He was like that even with Hoggle, so you’ve made them really realistic yet also stupid like regular siblings, LOL. Also Finn talking about how Jareth and Eimile would kill everyone with their hate was hilarious, but also made me think about how sad it is that it’s true, so many families take it too far and someone becomes bitter and hurtful and they don’t ever reverse it.

And of course, GO SARAH. She said everything she should have said, that both were overreacting and listed the good things about each sibling. Also I had forgotten how much time was supposed to have passed, man I don’t know if I could have handled that with those two! Props to Sarah big time!

I love seeing the Irish come in, I’m not familiar with Irish at all so thank you for Finn’s translations and for the translations on the bottom. And I relate to Sarah trying to speak to lighten the mood then kicking myself! The idea of Jareth sending Eimile to the oubliette is hilarious, and I love how you’ve made her a more important character here. I felt like Sarah, wanting time smack Jareth for sending her there when it could jeopardize their honeymoon! Hilarious how she looked like a banshee and honestly, I probably would have not wanted Jareth touch me either and stormed out just like Sarah did!

Seeing how Jareth is telling Sarah to do research tells me that you’ve done quite a bit! Wow! That’s impressive! Have to also say, I sadly don’t know a lot of the people on Sarah’s list or if I do recognize the name then that’s pretty much it. But I know that I will enjoy the story nonetheless, and anyone who knows those people well through research will love it even more!

Love the connection between Jareth and Sarah as usual! Also sorry for not reviewing this story again, I know I chatted with you but I really should have left a review. Love how he was sweet and understanding. I think if I got to see my father and he didn’t know who I was, I may just react the same way.

On another note, the roaring 20s! What a great idea and can’t wait to see more. I may have already read this story but rereading it will help me catch details I might have missed!

Can I just say that I have read all of your stories and they are absolutely beautiful. You write Sarah and Jareth so beautifully and the type of stories you wrote and so unique compared to everything else on the site. I think it’s how you approach their relationship as something so human and normal through the abnormally of their lives. Just really well done. Please never stop writing!

Awwww omg I thought of my dad right away. He died when I was four, and to be able to see him one last time. And her own mom complimenting her without knowing who she was! Wow. I love the little fact at the end too, as a musician myself i love learning about how instruments are made and how they cost or stories behind them. I play clarinet so I have zero ideas on violins (even clarinets I’m clueless as to what models are good or whatever).

So touching and sweet. It would have taken my everything to not lunge at my dad if I got to see him again. What better gift could Jareth had given her than this?

Adding in physics here is amazing, and as a nerd myself (I’m terrible at physics now though, it’s been so long) I love how you added it here. So many writers do this whole “magic vs science” but who’s to say that we can’t have both? It just shows that you actually understand how science works: through the scientific method in explaining how the world works and then using it to manipulate our world as we want it to be. We understand how to explain kinematics and trajectories to send robots in space, we understand that insulin lowers blood sugar and we make insulin to treat diabetes. I could go on. It’s wonderful that you did research on these, and I didn’t know a lot of these theories so it’s time I look it up myself!

Aside from the science part, love the parts about them taking a risk. A dare. It sounds a little reckless but it wouldn’t be them without taking risks, and it’s a calculated risk anyway.

I loved the wedding, so sweet and so detailed! I’m useless at writing details of decor or dresses, so it was a treat to be able to actually read someone’s actual writing on it. You certainly put a lot of bought into it all which I very much appreciate as you didn’t have to, but you did anyway. None of us are paid to write these stories and it astounds me how writers like you continue to do your research and add in gorgeous details!

Hey no M rated story is complete without Jareth going off and being a bit rough! Ah! Why am I so jealous of Sarah? I would be mad too though if I was butt naked with him and he wasn’t giving me attention. LOL. And of course, Eimile is still hilarious and I would so react the same way if I found my brother’s fiancé like that!

I’m so sorry for not reviewing each chapter (I know I talk to you about this story but I really should have left reviews). Love this chapter and I die of laughter at every single goblin name like Dogsbreath! Ha! And to see them argue is good, it makes their relationship realistic and it makes Jareth still himself (as we know how petty he can be). Absolutely charming chapter!
