Hi, French law student here. I love this unknowing father trope, so good job with that story.
Still, a bit of trivia on DNA tests in Francethey're a huge pain to do. The only way to get them is through a legal (which usually means quite public) proceeding. If a man wants to prove he's the father of a child, then he has to claim he is in a legal way. There's no sneaky DNA tests. Then it's the judge that decides whether to do a test or not.
I'm not exactly sure of the details, but Adrien would definitely not be able to legally get this test done.
But I know that these tests can be more common in other countries, so if it's the case in yours, keep going !
