I honestly think Harry went OP too quick. By having him beat his father who is many, many times more experienced and wise lose in training at the begining of Harry's journey, it leaves no room for him to grow. It doesn't give us and Harry a mile stone to measure his progress.

If he were to get his ass handed to him this chapter and then over the years grow stronger and more experienced until one day when he's a teenager, he is finally able to go toe to toe with his father, with the victory being a close call? Well, the reader will feel that overwhelming feeling of true victory. Harry's success will feel even more real. Remember, character milestones are important.

If I saw one, I would just blink one line. Everyone has a different tolerance (I wouldn't be satisfied with even a possessed toilet, though I've seen The Shining too many times and read too many King works). I have a feeling, by the way, that Sam and Dean are still clashing Crowley and Lily for Harry.
