I mean if it wasn't already obvious I really like Asami! I actually find her more than a little relatable in many respects!

Eternity is fleeting is a very poetic sentiment, yet I feel it's more apt to say - eternity will always be just out of reach. Ideals are just that, ideals, which is not to say it's impossible to find a moment of true happiness. But even if you could hold on to such a moment and never let go, it would still be just a moment. Such a moment could remain completely unchanging, because it doesn't have to change, people do. Although perhaps that's exactly what's being said in this chapter.

Before reading: Whyyyyy oh god I haven’t even had the chance to read this yet why did I check!? I’m so sad... I’m not going to be able to read it now because *redacted*! *sobs uncontrollably*
After reading: I hate dishes. Anyway, after being able to read this, I can say with certainty that I like Asami a lot! And the way you write her character is really well done! Either way, the chat Madoka had with Yanagida was great, too! Wonderful attention to detail! I’ll shut up now, but still, amazing chapter! I absolutely adored that last line.

Really really enjoyed this. Homura back story is amazing and madoka emotions feel so real.

Guess I was right about Madoka not taking the manuscript too well. And it seems Asami actually is the senpai with long chestnut brown hair. I actually really like her even from the little interaction she's had with Homura. Her sprinting to school late is such an anime moment lol! I can understand how she might eventually make a big impact on Homura. Well shit, looks like Madoka is peacing out big time! I wonder if her leaving is part of the long goodbye.

In the first two paragraphs it’s hard totell between Madoka and Homura. In the second paragraph you might want to clarify that it’s madoka’s emotional memory as the first paragraph reads that it’s Homura recognizing Madoka’s face is indiscernible and then reader assumes it continues with homura’s perspective. Idk if that made any sense?

Yaaaaaaay! We finally get to know about Asami! I’ve been wondering about that! Then again, I think everyone has... but that’s beside the point! Madoka is just stuck, kinda confused and unable to figure out her exact viewpoint while slowly falling into a pit of self-loathing. In my opinion, at least. Meanwhile Homura, I feel like, is finally figuring out how she feels about Madoka and allowing herself to feel this way! But she’s feeling super guilty, and understandably so. Anywhooo, it’s impossible for me to come up with a theory for this, soooooo... uhhhh... I’ll just say this, too: Great chapter that was totally worth the wait!

Damn you. At the very start you just pound the feels. The story about homuras past is really cool and enjoyable. Cant wait for the next one

i haven’t checked on this story since chapter 7, and although this may sound weird, i’m glad i didn’t. i just couldn’t stop reading this, and each time i finished a chapter i would be thankful that i didn’t have to wait in order to read more. it’s kinda freaky how compelling the cliffhangers are (even if they weren’t intentional)

the wedding scene in chapter 8 really stuck with me, and so did flashbacks of Homura’s childhood. the wedding scene more so, and maybe it’s because you managed to (partially?) describe a feeling that isn’t really describable. it’s really beautiful, and i love how it ties into the whole “eternity is fleeting” thing.

also the madoka x homura in this is great. everything about this fic is great too, honestly. you’ve also gotta be a pretty great person to have written such a high-quality fic in such a short time, haha

Oh man this chapter really began to bring the pain. I get that Homura has serious issues, but it seriously started to feel like Homubuse! Hell she may be exhibiting even more self-loathing than Rebellion Homura. Ah well, at least there is a spark of hope with Madoka. Although given the serious nature of this cliffhanger maybe not. Considering the subject matter and people involved, I'm not sure Mads is going to react -ah- favorably to reading Homura's manuscript.

Madoka is really breaking through Homura’s walls and getting to the vulnerable, lovable part of her. Though it’s very tiny. You really show this process well and the memory of the cherry blossoms was well described. Keep up the great work!

Or perhaps not. The girl is basically the first one Homura seems to have feelings for. Oh damn, poor Mads! I can only imagine how frustrating and painful that must have been all at once. Still, I'm not sure I could have been as patient as Homura when she learned how Madoka had butted into her private affairs.
