How did Meji’s mom hear Sayori’s stomach rumble but not “Meji” referring to himself in third person? I know I’m probably looking to far into it but its just kinda sus.

But Bum Bum. Looks like Josiah, Monika, and potentially Sayori are going to have to explain to Yuri that they live in a world/game earlier than he had planned. Somehow I underestimated how intelligent and observant this Yuri is capable of being. Come to think of it, the same sort of thing happened with Sayori. Somehow she was able to sense that Meiji was not being completely himself and that his current behavior was inconsistent with his past character and behavior, and she asked him what was wrong ahead of his planned time to tell her. "Somethings rotten in the state of Denmark." Or in this case, the code of the game.

jk jk This was such a good read though, monika's teasing, sayori has a key to spend time with meiji now (͡ ͜ʖ͡ ), natsuki's doing alright, and yuri being in charge! Excited and equally nervous for the next chapter, josiah might have to lie or reveal himself soon...

I guess Yuri's about to find out the truth now.

I gotta say... I just absolutely LOVE your story. I'd be here earler but the large gap of your writing made me leave, but I see you're still here! I'm especiallly looking forward to seeing future relationships between the characters, like Josiah and Monika. This is one of, if not the best DDLC fanfics I've ever read. IF things go really dark, such as suicide happening, my heart's gonna break. Anyway, cya soon!

Josiah better tell monika to fire up the space classroom so sayori sees him in the flesh, since it is outside the script and josiah wont be forced to be merged with meiji because the script cant identify him. Maybe monika can copy josiah's chr file while hes separated and paste him after they got merged LOL! It'll be crazy though, once monika arrives and they get separated, I assume sayori wouldn't like josiah being forever trapped in the room for the sake of meiji being the one in control. I can't wait to see if that somehow happens. I liked the world building in this fanfic alot and I'm longing for another update uwu... just reading it makes me uwu inside

I like the story but for some reason I hate the constant singing. It feels a bit presumptuous and weird inside a story.
