Better than many Romanogers fix-it fics, but still with many of the same issues. Sidelining Peggy and Steve's relationship with her. Little suspense because little unexpected happened and interpersonal issues and internal conflicts were easily and with little trouble resolved. It made no sense that Thanos wouldn't have been aware Infinity Stones were being collected and destroyed and stepped in much earlier. Stuff like that. But a lot of writing and more creative than most.

I know a lot of people like the idea of Steve and Natasha and being accepted no matter what you've done by a good person, but I have a hard time seeing how Steve as a person and Natasha as a person make any sense. Is being attractive and treating the other kindly enough to tie them together? Simply being single Avengers? What do they have in common? How would either even grasp partially where the other is coming from? Working well together on a team or knowing someone well doesn't mean you want to spend your life with someone or are actually compatible as a couple. And do they really share goals, priorities, and values, enough to work well as spouses? I don't think so. I don't even think their lifestyles are compatible.

I wanted to see if you make a more compelling case than other stories, but I'm still not convinced. And having everyone pushing them together doesn't seem quite right.

Great chapter, so is this where it ends if it is it's a great place and wrap up. If it's not then I'm looking forward to the next one to see how everything finishes off. My confusion comes from the story not being listed as complete but the chapter finishes with the end which would indicate that this is it.

1970? I always assumed Steve went back to the 40s, plus Peggy looked way too young in that last scene for it to be 1970. Perhaps I’m missing something that’ll be explain later on. Or maybe I’m getting way too technical with this lol
