Pacing isn’t really great tbh. I would almost call it bad if not for how much was written. Scenes transition pretty easily, but sometimes there’s a big disconnect that can’t be solved by a single line. Ie, one moment they’re learning about xyz summoning and then the next Serena can use an xyz monster during an invasion without any buildup on the attacked’s side. There’s also a lack of detail to certain topics where there should be more. Canon wise, the revelation of other summonings is new for all the dimensions sides fusion, it makes sense for Serena and Yuri to know about others, but they should be surprised or even curious to know how they know they’re fusion users beyond just looking into their decks(which, btw, nobody would suddenly know what fusion is). Occasionally characters talk in an OOC voice, such as Ryo saying “what the hell” which just doesn’t feel right for the character as a whole, mad soldier or not. Also the actual connection between the dragon boys and bracelet girls isn’t touched upon at all, which is extremely curious(to put it nicely) when you consider how important it is in show. All things considered, there’s some details missing from the writing style/chapter that would definitely turn people away from reading further.

I’ve always imagined one of the Fusion soldiers using Grisaille Prison. It’s an IRL trap card that prevents Synchro and Xyz summoning for one turn.

I'm curious if Yuya and his friends will use ritual summon. The duel Sawatari vs Yuya should be a bit different. Perhaps the deck Sawatari threw away has ritual support cards.
