I feel you. The husband of a retired friend of mine is currently dying fast from a rare and aggressive cancer, it has been barely half a year since the diagnosis and it is going downhill fast. I know it's not the same, but I have a bit of an idea I guess. I'm recovering from having major surgery on my jaws five weeks ago, and the anesthesia has f*cked up my meds so that I have spent the past weeks in a never ending episode, now upping the dosage to get a grip on it again. So I understand the whole 'living in my own world'.

Sorry to hear about your health and the lost of your friend. I'm still interested in working on the story we're doing together, but I am glad I've waited hearing this sad news. Hope you feel better.
