The movie was out, not extraordinary, but it is a great video fanfiction for the books.
I like your style,and i like the little psychological inputs. A necromancer (Dresden/The Spook's Apprentice style) Artemis tingle my fantasy senses just right.
Good job on the sleeping/coma scenario, a little different aproach, but the scene is a bit mainstream in ff.
Keep up the good work, and i wait for the sequel!

I'm enjoying the story, but it feels like whenever Artemis is in trouble, magic is always a viable solution, becuase I don't know what he can and cannot do. The human magic system feels like it's been left largely unexplained.

That's actually a way better blue rinse escape than the cannon. I could imagine that in the book as well, stopping the heart with drugs temporarily to avoid it.

I love everything about it: All the Butler and Artemis scenes, the flawless characterization of all the Fowl Gang, the writing style, the story itself, the quoting of "The Raven"... I really loved this chapter. I only regret that it is so brief. But truly, I love that you chose Butler as the first one to learn about the Fowl Star accident, and that he is the main focus of this chapter. It was really so sad and sweet to go through all his emotions during the night, and Artemis sitting next to him in the morning while Butler cried OH MY GOD CUTENESS OVERLOAD I JUST DIED.

Such an interesting take on this part of the canon, really, bravo :-)

And the end of the chapter, with the sentence ''In the low light of dawn'' immediately reminded me of ''Cold Gray Light of Dawn" by Blue Oyster Cult, I don't know if that was on purpose or if you even know the band ? Anyway it was super poetic and totally in phase with all the literary references in your story, so I liked it :-3
