I like the concept of this story. But I think you might be selling the Chief a bit short here. Remember, he is faaaaaar from a normal human. A single SPARTAN can mow down entire hordes of Promethean knights, something I highly doubt a Resistance android (or even a YoRHa android without the necessary plug-ins) could do. With a few exceptions I don't think the machines you fight in the game are anywhere near as sophisticated or powerful the Prometheans. But that's just my opinion, and I'm interested to see what you have in store.
