This is such a touching chapter. You can feel the strong family bonds in Daiki (by then the Master), Yomi, Mako, Tomoe, and little Nikola. Nice cameo of Red enjoying her meal.

Mako and Daiki are scarily overprotective of Nikola. Yomi has in fact mellowed out since she settled in the human world and formed her family there.

The moment of the chapter was when toddler Nikola spoke her first word. Senzaemon-dono and Yomi must have quite a friendship (with a degree of rivalry and respect for each other).

Another idea for a chapter farther down the line is who gets Nikola’s first meal. It could be something as simple as a sandwich but all of Nekoya is willing to fight each other for it. In the end even though it’s not her usual time Red enters the restaurant, silences everyone with her mere presence, takes the meal and walks out without saying a word.
