Hermione was probably following orders form Dumbledore. It was obverse that he was a blood purest
and tried to protect them by tying the Aurors hands with not being able to use Lethal Force in the Blood War! I love the big fat finger did to that by killing so many at the end there! Dumbledore Knew that was going to die so he had to save Harrys blood line and she was the best option always following his words like they were gospel!
