Another thing I recommend is that Jon should reign from Fort Cailin since it connects both the South and North of the kingdoms. While in your story Bran and Rickon will surely still be alive that they could occupy Winterfell as lords of or House Stark to avoid political problems.
Another thing you must do is that the people of the free town are not only in Gift but also located in other parts of the North since it is a sparsely populated nation.
The next thing you have to do is either Jon have absurd luck and find the 100 Valyrian steel weapons lost in all Westeros for his generals to use in the long night or for Bran using his powers as the new three-eyed raven. I located.
For the future Queen of the North I would say that you must put Sansa and then remove many lords from the western lands, storm, the crown, the scope and dorne so that when the Golden company arrives it will not find allies. imagine Tormund as the new overlord of the Stormlands and kill Aegon xD.

Actually, in your scenario the Karstarks would be easier to bring aboard for the wrong reasons. Arnolf can use a marriage between Alys and Jon as the requirement. Removing Alys as Karstark head and knowing Harrion will most likely die in captivity under the Lannisters. Accomplishing his goal, while looking perfectly loyal to both his house and the Starks.

What an ungrateful brat Robb ended up being. Why would he be angry at his mother for the way she treated Jon? He should be grateful! She never mistreated him. On the contrary, she allowed him to stay at Winterfell where he didn't belong and allowed him to have all the privileges he didn't deserve! He should be grateful for that! She released the Kigslayer to fix something Robb refused to do. She was going to trade him for his sisters, something Robb couldn't care less about! She was doing his job.
And what? She was against naming Jon King? Of course! The title belongs to Sansa. Robb was willing to break the rules and fight for Jon, but not for his sisters.
I truly hope Jon, after seeing how the world really works and how bastards are really treated, that he realizes how easy he had it and how much Catelyn allowed and tolerated. That would show maturity on his part.

I love the way you outlined Littlefinger's thought process. Most fics have him make stupid blunders to be exposed by the Brilliant Mary Sue. Or have someone straight up look at his face, decide he doesn't like it and cut off his head.
Not the fault of most writers, Littlefinger is more brilliant than most of us will be.
P.S. I also think Donal Noye is an excellent choice for Lord Commander.
