Only American people eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Harry and Severus are English, so you cannot give that sort of "meal" to the child. No one in Europe eat that, this is absolutely not an acceptable meal for a European child. Here, peanut butter is expensive and very difficult to find (and not well liked at all). I'm French but lived in England for some months at the end of the seventies. We rarely ate sandwiches and only for picnic. It was, tuna, corned beef or egg and cucumber sandwiches, in England (French sandwiches are different too).
You need to adapt your ideas of meals to the country.

Good for dealing with your own self concerns. I hope this writer's block disperses for you. Changing things up will give you new perspectives on view points or on how a character may adapt after time.
