Honestly, in terms of GOT fics if I'm being honest now, this fic is okay. Writing could have improvement in several areas. Dialogue feels more modern and less medieval, and the writing as a whole tends to feel a bit clunky. I do highly doubt that this "Empire of fire and ice" is as good as you'd like to hype it up to be, especially when I've found some fucking amazingly well written fics. But eh, I think I'm gonna stop here, because we're 13 chapters into a crossover and the crossover hasn't happened yet, and the story itself needs a beta/ cowriter.

Jon and Dany should have a select few who join them for their voyage out of Westeros. Bronn, Jaime, Arya, three good candidates I feel.

Ah, small issue here. Scorpion bolts don't have the strength to break a castle wall, at all. They'd break and snap. Catapults also don't have the power to actually damage a castle wall. Larger siege engines would do, but scorpions and catapults wouldn't. Could destroy wood and be a nuisance, prevent any imports, but that's about it.

The Second Sons had two thousand men, meaning together this should be a force of in total five thousand. But the men on Dragonstone should far outnumber them. The unsullied and dothraki already have over four thousand, put the Lannisters, Northmen, and Valeman in the mix, and there's far too much for this army to handle.

To be fair, there is now NO WAY for Cersei to get soldiers. The westerlands is running on empty after being at war for so long, the Reach is done, Dorne hates her, The vale is with the North and riverlands, the storm lands would never answer her call, and the rest of the Crownlands wouldn't answer either. Her only option would be sellswords, but she doesn't have the gold to buy them, plus other companies would hear what happened to the Golden Company.

Just makes ya wonder, what if Rhaegar lost but survived the trident? If he, say, cut off Robert's arm and fled, injured, before taking his son to dragonstone and then taking Dany and Viserys to Essos? May be a fic like that but idk.

I mean to be fair, I feel they made it clear VERY early on that the dragons are highly adept swimmers, considering when they were young and just before they reached Astapor all three were regularly diving into the sea to hunt. Its disappointing the show didn't use this more often. How cool would it have been if, say, Drogon and Viserion were burning a fleet while Rhaegal burst out of the sea from beneath a ship, shattering it in half?

Oh thank God, Rhaegal does live. It was such bullshit how three fucking scorpions managed direct hits and one took a chunk out of his shoulder when they were so high in the air and so far away, when said scorpions were on SHIPS! It would've been near impossible for so many shots to hit so many vital spots.

Kinda wish Rhaegal was still alive if I'm being honest in this.

I am glad you are planning on "redeeming" Sansa's character, she is going to have a lot of thinking to do and she would have to apologize to a lot of people to start. Her starting with Arya was a good start.
I am glad that Bran improved from that emotionless robot he was, I think I remember him saying that Bran was dead and he was the Three Eyed Raven, I remember thinking that they should bury his body then. An interesting take on why everything went to Hell in season eight, it was the Night King who caused it.
Aww, that scene with Dany and the children was adorable how she told them stories about her exploits and they got to hold Sōna much to her enjoyment. Daenerys is finally getting the respect she deserves.
Dany looks beautiful, the way she described glowing in the moonlight. Sounds ethereal. The wedding was beautiful. It was a nice touch on whom gave away Dany. Arya crying at the sight of Dany and Jon's wedding was a nice touch, it showed the absolute love she has for her brother.
I loved that they went to the hot springs. It was so romantic. Oh Dany you will get your wish, sooner than you may think. I wonder how many children they will have, it would be funny if they rival Alysanne and Jaehaerys. Although, the waterfall scene was one of the few good things about season eight, it should have really clued Daenerys in that Jon had Targaryen blood as dragons would not let just anyone ride them, only people they bonded to and that would be Targaryens.
Well, Drogon, Ghost, and Rhaegal are all very protective older brothers and loyal animal companions.
Interesting fact, dire wolves were real animals. I do not know what, if any, differences there are between reality and fantasy however.

I was always ambivalent about the Arya/Gendry pairing. I did not hate it but it was not exactly my favorite but the more I read fanfiction the more I find it intriguing.
Oh boy, I am looking forward to finding out if Gendry's theory is correct and he is able to recreate Valyrian steel. It would definitely be a huge advantage. He and Dany and Jon can either supply it for family and friends to make weapons and armor or be able to sell it for top dollar to others.
Drogon was funny he is trying to maintain his big and tough image but when Dany calls him a big softie, it was amusing.
I do hope Arya gets to be a dragonrider in the future, it looks like she is already bonding with Aryaella.
I like the crypt scene much better than in the show. I like how Dany was supportive and comforting and how they showed their mutual love and respect for each other.
I am glad Sansa was put in her place by Arya of all people, but Sansa's character was another casualty of Dumb and Dumber.
Badass Dany kicks some Glover butt. Arya was right, he should not have called her a foreign whore or Jon a bastard, one of Dany's biggest berserk buttons.

That was a lovely family bonding moment. I like the names Dany and Jon picked for their dragon children, named after two of the most important women in Jon's life (other than Daenerys of course). I am glad that Aryaella is bonding with her namesake/aunt.
It was amusing the playful banter between Arya and Jon, a real sibling bonding moment. I do hope that Jon is able to find more Valyrian steel so he can have a sword forged for Arya.
That sounds like a magnificent ship, what type is it? It will come in handy when Dany and Jon explore the world, I do hope that they bring Arya with them, I think she would love it. That is a good name for their flagship, in a way it is their own aircraft carrier with Drogon and Rhaegal providing air support.
Well Daario just made it to the top of Dany's list.
It was adorable how Arya was able to teach her niece how to cook her meat, the first non-Valyrian in history I am sure to get a dragon to obey her. I think that Arya would be interested in learning High Valyrian. I know I would in her position.
Tyrion really is fortunate to have only been sacked for all of his screwups and betrayals. I hated what D&D did to his character, another casualty of season eight.
Way to go Gendry, puncturing that pompous little peacock's ego was hilarious, treating him as if he was a nobody from nowhere.
It was so funny how Daario was given one metaphorical kick to the nuts after another. The funniest being him getting the Petyr Baelish treatment. The way he looked like a lackwit was priceless.

That was an awesome battle air, land, and sea. Dany and Jon had their big heroes moment coming to the rescue when they needed it the most.
Also, I am happy Arya and Dany, two of my favorite female characters were able to finally bond.
