Honestly, the characters all here seem to be cartoony versions of themselves, which is really jarring while picturing the MCU and live action characters portraying it. It's a really solid plot, but how the characters are written just doesn't sit right, SHEILD's stuff especially. That said, it's really not a bad fic. As I said, the plot of the story plays out pretty well, but there are a few points I'm abit confused by. From what I was getting, Fury wanted to put together a team even before the Tesseract spat out Loki. Barton isn't off with Loki, possibly due to being on this issue instead which is understandable, but it would have been useful to see how that scene was changed if that's the case. Then there's the fact the Avengers first went after the two kids and a restaurant owner after Loki stole the Tesseract. Generally, that'd be the pressing issue. I feel it may have worked better by showing various characters mingle first, especially through Harry's restaurant and the Stark internship, then follow the plot of the movie more closely, having Percy, Annabeth and Harry jump in with the invasion and help, leading to them being known to the Avengers and included going forward.

I love this story! It's so hard to find a PJO/HP/Avengers crossover. I also appreciate Harry not being 'God-Tier' or 'MoD', while I love a good HP breaks the Marvel Universe with his overpoweredness, I find this a much more enjoyable read. Plus we still get Natasha and Harry interacting, which has me intrigued.

I would have thought that any wizard as powerful and skilled as Harry could easily dismantle Shield if he wanted to. All he needs to do is invite an attack capture an agent and some potion based truth serum and the agent gives up the location and identify of his/her superior then rinse and repeat until he has someone high enoug up the food chain to access some of Shields secrets. At this point I doubt Fury would be okay with that sort of data being released on the intern. Wizards are the perfect covert operatives.

So with that being said and after years of being pushed around as a kin I’m surprised Harry went with the fake our deaths and run away option. Still you have not shown him to be the sort who likes violent confrontations so it fits his character. I only hope you did not have him so stupid as to allow his real wand to be destroyed.

I’m curious what the fall out will be. Given Steve’s morals and Tony’s connection to Annabeth and Bruce’s decency I doubt it will sit well with them that parts of Shield think it’s acceptable to scoop up people simply because they have powers. Even hardened veteran agents like Hawkeye and Black Widow don’t seem comfortable with it. Plus will anyone catch on to their capture being a bit too easy? I look forward to seeing what comes next.
