Oh my...

This chapter is intense, moving, heartbreaking, dramatic, hopeful all rolled in one. Truly amazing. I loved the Winchesters *showing* Castiel that they care and mostly for getting to the root of the problem between them - communication, or rather miscommunication; a foreign being who does not understand the nuances of not only English, but of the human condition, coupled with two men who don't always use their words and never to one who not only wasn't raised around all the variances of the language but also is so damn *literal* so of course there were bound to be problems but because no one knew it, they just festered and the chasm between them grew wider and wider. So, they needed this, needed to sit down and understand. And I loved how it extended to the end, after everything regarding the refugees had been settled. Absolutely beautiful! The boys were all in character, and the style and language used in Castiel's POV lovely and fitting.

Wow! Your writing is improving with each post. I love the development in this story. I really wish that in the show the brothers would have a talk with Cas like this and explain to him clearly that he belongs. Great CasWhump in the beginning and thank you for having a comfort section as well as the hurt. Great work!

I love this so much, Cas being out of it awww, the alternate in ch. 2 is good too but chapter 1 omg the writing. I’m reading this over and over forever. I don’t normally comment but yes please I need so much more! So many!

I just love the two chapters so far! I like the last line that Sam and Dean make it safe for him again. I would beat them up all Thunder dome and then kick them out with just the crap they came with and a water bottle. I look forward to seeing what you come up with! Thank you from Colorado.

Gah! Poor Cas! Love the story, hate the way Cas has to go through with all that. Gotta love protective Winchesters though. Can't wait to read more scenarios. I haven't seen season 14 yet, but I'm assuming they don't touch on the new resident Apocalypse-Worlders views on angels and how it affects Cas.

I hope Dean runs into those hunters while getting ice. Great job - I like how you wrote unfocused Cas and how he kept latching onto specific phrases.

You really should add another chapter to this. I want to read about how Pi$$ed Dean is going to get and what he is going to do. Great read but sad for Cas.
