ObsidianBlackCat chapter 5 . 7/7 The epilogue at last! I've been so excited to read this! I must say this was very well done. I'm not going to lie, I could have read a million more chapters of this even if I would have been bawling my eyes out, but I like how you ended it. Concise and everything is explained just enough. Not to mention it ends on a much higher note than where it started (yup, I'm still a sucker for happy endings). This may just be my lack of experience in literary horror talking, but this entire thing was very unique in my opinion. Rereading it all, the emotions still feel so raw and perfectly done. I hope you're well! |
BigRig2.0 chapter 5 . 6/23 I’m out |
asingh123 chapter 3 . 4/21 It started good, but here it just feels boring now... I get it, this is Marvel(hence total sick F**k)... But without any real progress till this point is disappointing |
AnAddictedReader chapter 4 . 9/29/2019 Ooh, I really do hope this, if there is going to be romance, will become Peter/Wanda. |
ObsidianBlackCat chapter 4 . 9/27/2019 Do you know that I'm so glad you keep lying? ;) First I'll say what I forgot to say last chapter, which is that the Terrible Love song is so perfect for this story. I listened and it was so heart wrenching. This was such an abrupt change for Peter, going from such an emotional wreck being tortured by a spider god to . . . this. He definitely comes off a bit inhuman even if you ignore the yellow eyes. I don't think spider markings have ever been done before, nor have I ever considered it. The picture for the story makes a lot of sense now. I'm really looking forward to the epilogue. I have this feeling that Dr. Strange might figure out that the Weaver did succeed in turning Peter into something more, then he used that power to destroy her and get himself back to earth. I don't know, that's just the first scenario that popped in my head when Strange started talking about the cons of the situations. Your stories put my imagination into overdrive. |
Black Cat chapter 3 . 8/18/2019 Poor Tony, he's holding himself together really well for a guy in his position. The goldfish reference was very interesting. At first I was going to agree with Wanda, but then it did make sense. You're also making me very curious about the end. This is a fix it so I expected rejoicing by now. Instead I'm wondering if Peter's going to continue existing as done sort of spider demigod thing that watches over earth, which isn't what Tony or May wants but . . . it wouldn't exactly be too bad . . . This chapter planted a lot of doubt in my theories. I love it. |
The Keeper of Worlds chapter 3 . 8/16/2019 ...I think Cthulhu would look at that little ‘feast’ and be subtly impressed. That’s a VERY disconcerting image to say the least. Wonder how Peter will turn the tables on an Eldritch Pagan Deity set to balance the cosmic scale. |
Mark the Mark chapter 3 . 8/15/2019 OMG! WANDA NO~ I really like this story and want to see more of it. thanks for the update :) |
Vorg21 chapter 3 . 8/15/2019 That was something dark and twisted that came my way and it was godamn macabre genius writing soooo freakin good... hoping for more gruesome depictions and stomach churning situations. |
Mark the Mark chapter 2 . 7/30/2019 haha nice. Keep this up :D |
Black Cat chapter 2 . 7/29/2019 I don't often read horror, but this was good. Were you inspired by The Fly or the Silent Hill video games? The level of of disturbing transmogrification was right on par with those. In fact, the first part with him reliving how he was bitten and the circuitous hallways would be right at home in Silent Hill. I can't wait to see how this turns out! It's so exciting! I love the twist at the end with the Spider really being in debt to Peter. It makes a lot of sense considering how he literally saved the world. |
GodOfCreationUltimateAlienX chapter 2 . 7/25/2019 Very nice chapter. I love where you’re taking this. |
The Keeper of Worlds chapter 2 . 7/24/2019 Oh dear, things are going to be quite complicated indeed. |
Black Cat chapter 1 . 7/23/2019 Wow . . . I hardly know what to say, except perhaps . . . Oh my God I cried so hard! I had to wait to read this alone because i was literally bawling! Why do I do this to myself? I was smart enough to not watch Infinity War or Endgame (I know, weird, but i am really sentimental and after I heard the most bare bone summary I knew i would be depressed for weeks on end). But this was still . . . Awesome is a tad too cheery. I'll go with incredible. I love the ending though. It's actually really ironic because I'm writing a vaguely similar but much less dark story relating Spider-Man and magic. He only almost dies in my story though. I can't bring myself to kill my main character . . . But i really ought to one day. So, you scrapped the Symbiosis sequel (I'm a bit sad about that too, but those few chapters are still good memories) and now you have this ended at quite the cliffhanger. Please tell me you're going to continue this. After all the sorrow the hope really stands out. I never really appreciated hope until i lost it first. Also love the dog idea. I'll probably email you in the next few days with a longer rant ;) I just kind of need to uh . . . Find my password. I know it's somewhere. |
FrostedDragonHeart chapter 1 . 7/22/2019 That ending seems ominous, wow! Amazing read, I'm thoroughly impressed. You had my eyes glued the whole way through! |
