BAH! This is one of the best pieces of fiction, let alone fanfiction, that I've read to date! The narrative structure, the perfectly captured POV ... just everything! I have discovered a new love for cordano fics, and this is one of my all-time favourites!

Seriously - this was really great. Your description of Corday's mental state is well thought-out and, I think, completely plausible. Then again, I'm a desperate Cordano shipper, so that's where I'm coming from. From a technical standpoint, I really admire your use (and your ability to carry through) the second-person narration. That's tricky to manage well ... so kudos!
