I reread chapter 1 as a refresher and it just reminded me utterly hilarious and adorable this is. I really love how you’ve built the dynamics between Ralph and Caitlin and Barry. You placed the flashbacks so well and I can see them so clearly in my mind. Also high school Caitlin and Barry are SO ADORABLE. I laughed so hard at Barry offering to put something horrible in Hunter’s locker.

Now for chapter 2!

“She instantly closed her mouth as that one word reached her ears. He had spoken softly, almost whispered, but the sound of her name was somehow louder in his lips.
It had always been.”

I LOVE that line. It’s so well written.

“It's me," Barry simply stated, tapping his chest with his other hand. "It's just me."

I absolutely adore how you wrote the soft little gestures and the chemistry between them. It feels so organic and real.

I really really love their banter and how playful they are yet still so apprehensive. It just so...THEM and I love it. The flashbacks are so good. The dynamics you’re building and slowly revealing are really awesome. I’m honestly kind of in love with the idea of Caitlin, Barry, Cisco, and Ralph all going to school together now.

Another thing that I really like is the change in Barry and Caitlin after they let their walls come down. Like they went from trying to pretend to be strangers to accepting that they still have a bond.

Overall, it was just so well written and I absolutely loved it. There’s such a great balance of fluff and humor but also angst. Amazing work!

This was so good! Loved the whole reconnectinh aspect, and if course the details are so well done! I just wish there was more!

I can't believe in took me this long to finally find the time to read this chapter, I mean I could have had those images in my head already for weeks and here I was missing out. It did take me a moment to get back into the story, but once I did, I enjoyed every word. Their dynamic is just so much fun and they are so sweet and cute and aww. I mean I knew he wouldn't have dropped that knife without it paying off, lol, and of course, she brought a first aid kit. It's just so nice to read about them with a S1 vibe and have Cisco as an added bonus. I loved his conversation with Barry, he's just such a good friend, worried, honest, but still supportive. I can't wait to read what you have in store next :)

The image of Caitlin all geared up with her surgical mask, only to do Ralph's dishes is just something I could see them doing on the show. LMAO! And the fact that they keep stumbling over their words and blurting things out, but are still so touchy with each other d;gksjd;fgklsjdg - I LOVE. They are suck dorks and I just love them.

"'Yes...No!' Caitlin uttered out, covering her mouth with both hands and doing a little trot in place." - CAITLIN IS ADORABLE!

"it was so ironic to seek comfort in the same thing that was making her blood pressure rise." - I just love this line a lot.

And omg, Barry nearly setting fire to himself and the whole lab. How did this boy ever become a CSI? LOL But I just love how this is their first day interacting and it seems like they already hit their groove and it's natural. And I love how he remembered her from other classes and when she was in the newspaper. :)))) And then him asking her to coffee dkgjs;dlfgkjd

BARRY SMEARING FLOUR ON HER CHEEK! AWWWW! And then Barry's brain combusting when she said she was thinking about him xDD

I also just love how they only knew each other for a year, but he sees her just as much as his best friend as Cisco! I think that really speaks of their connection.

And OF COURSE Barry is just prone to hurting himself and OF COURSE Caitlin has a first-aid kit on hand. But I love how this transitioned to the bleachers scene. You can tell that they are both so torn up about her leaving, but they don't want to put themselves out there. And they gets so vulnerable here and the touches to their heads and chest gahhhhhhhhh! I love the quote from the show you slipped in here about them seeing the good in people, because it's so true. AND THEY almost kiss! STUPID GUARD! Why couldn't he stay sleeping?! xD But having them scurry away was funny, and I could only imagine what Barry's mom THOUGHT they might have been doing on those bleachers ;))))))

AND THEN SHE TELLS HIM TO PUT HIS NUMBER IN HER PHONE. AND SHE TELLS HIM SHE'S GOING TO CALL HIM! AND THEN SHE CALLS HIM LIKE 10 MINUTES LATER xD DORKssssssss in LOVE!

OMG this is just so good! I was looking forward to reading it and it didn't disappoint. I thought a cute short little story would await me, but a few paragraphs in I started hoping this was only a first chapter, so yay :D I like the concept of the Holiday and how you integrated Ralph into it, I'm excited about his mini arc and I love his friendship with Caitlin (and Barry). But I also look forward to Cisco and everything Snowbarry obviously ;) This story is just so light, funny and uplifting (for now at least), it really put a smile on my face :) And your writing is so great, I was hooked from the first line :) Can't wait for next chapter :)
