Pick an alternative universe where middle children are revered above their siblings and the sisters have been trained to put their brother first and cannot treat him badly or they get punished by Rita and Lynn Sr.

Or the family lives in the 1950's and the sisters act passive and have limited choices in how they behave and the parents are strict with them but not Lincoln.

Glad to see this get updated.

Excellent point about Lisa being smart and determined enough to get the watch to work. Let's hope that the watch takes him somewhere better (although that's not exactly a high threshold).

P.S. Could there be an alternative ending where Lincoln goes to his grandfather?

Oh man

So Lincoln is going to run away to another dimension. He already knows that having only brothers is as bad, if not worse, as having only sisters. So maybe he can go for the middle ground; a dimension where half of his sisters are brothers, but the other half is not.

Well, this is a new twist on the tale.

Of course, there’s no way that they can force him to return, and are going to get into a load of trouble for what they did.

For chapter 9
I was really looking forward to hear Lincoln changing his mind about visiting Rita and speaking to her since he told Lynn Sr. his doctor told him to confront his problems head on.

I have to admit this was a satisfactory ending. With Lynn Sr. seeing just how much he hurt his children and that his bond with them will never be the same again. However it would have been nice to see his first interaction with his father in law.

By the way what exactly are Lynn Sr. and Rita doing for a living now? Will Sr. go back to an IT job or will he continue to work for the prison cafeteria team?

The Loud sisters are trophy children.

A trophy child is a kid whose attributes and achievements are used by the parents to impress other people and whose parents see them as extensions of themselves, that's what .
