Damn that was emotional

Let me just say: I never thought I could enjoy this much reading in second person POV. The sheer amount of emotion you capture in your story is stunning!

I was impressed with the narrative voice. It carries such a sense of dull and numb regret that from the first paragraphs, I knee where it was all heading (not event-wise, but emotion-wise).

Even as I read the love scene in Paris, I heard this voice in the background that kept saying "The moment you walk out the door, she will return to the dull comfort of her marriage. And she will shake off all your shared dreams, as if they were nothig more than, well... dreams.

Speaking of the love scene (the origami similee)... Never have I read on this website a love scene so beautifully and minimalistically written. It's not explicit by any means, yet it is intense. It makes me think of Patrick Rothfuss' scene in The Wise Man's Fear, where Kvothe encounters Felurian.

Another thing that I absolutely loved is the multituse and complexity of emotions in your story and most of all how you conveyed them without actually naming the emotions. What is your secret? How did you do that? I')ll just re-read the story and try to figure out the technique behind this. (I'm a novice fanfic writer and when something really impresses me, I take it as a study material).

This paragraph made me really curious:

"The transgressions of the parent ought not to be visited upon the child, you write, your son is always welcome at Hogwarts. Dumbledore was not the only Headmaster to teach you valuable lessons."

I assume you meant Snape here... and I must ask: Did Harry learn this lesson due to the fact that Snape treated him horribly because of the animosity towards Harry's father? Or due to the fact that Snape risked his life to protect him, despite his animosity towards Harry's father? I'm just really curious how you meant it...
