CronaAlbarn48 chapter 15 . 8/24 I'm enjoying this story but something that stuck out to me was that in 200 years humanity went from 7 billion to 1 trillion people. That's nearly 150 times increase in population. With almost 400 planets that's around 2.5 billion people to a planet. Such a population boom doesnt seem natural or sustainable. if this is true then humanity has a very young population and very very large families. even the nations with the highest birth rates in our history don't come close to a 150 times increase in population unless they annexed a nation much much larger then them. keep in mind it takes 12-14 years for a human to be able to have kids with it being severely frowned upon in almost all cultures, but even if humans were pumping out kids at that age I dont think humanity could reach those numbers in that speed. between the 19th-21st centuries humanity's population only tripled/quadrupled not increased 150 times. |
Guest chapter 16 . 7/1 Dying for a new chapter |
Ase Of SpADeZ chapter 5 . 6/6 You do realize sensor stealth relies on flat angles right and not curved ones? Sorry but I’m a nerd. |
Blaze1992 chapter 16 . 5/26 Hmm so far it's good granted I am surprised there hasn't been more car/train "wrecks" between humans and turians in here. I mean you made it seam like something was going to happen between the Lions captain and the turian XO yet so far all we seen is flirting at best. I do like the multiple tech/gear from different verses being used though confused on the why, were they inspired to make real tech based on fictional shows or is a really a mixed earth? |
Blaze1992 chapter 6 . 5/26 Umm first what alien race and what verse are they from cause I am drawing a blank here. Second wait if the Quarians are treated good by turians, why do the cops in C-sec give them such a hard time? |
ivanacco1 chapter 2 . 5/26 This is basically halo unsc |
Blaze1992 chapter 1 . 5/26 So basically a mix of BSG:2003 or deadlock plus some Halo and some "modern" idea's used to make up this version of earth and it's forces? |
jabbarulez chapter 16 . 5/18 Krogan playing rugby? That's gonna get ugly! |
RandoFox chapter 1 . 5/14 Its so obvious that this is the unsc but you just renamed it, should have just made this a halo pre human-covenant crossover |
Guest chapter 16 . 5/12 Come on Ireland beat the All Blacks |
Chronus1326 chapter 16 . 5/12 This chapter was so good I went back and re-read the Lions insertion into the Agamemnon system. Thanks again! |
Hadrian.Caeser chapter 16 . 5/12 Me like this XD |
bksniper1 chapter 16 . 5/11 loved it please comtinue |
Linkblade0 chapter 16 . 5/11 I'm loving this story. A militant humanity (heavily influenced by the UNSC I notice), basically performing an honorable act in assisting a stranded Turian crew. Even going so far as getting the Turians to learn how to operate their systems during transit to further promote their desire for cooperation. Upon arriving they find the Hierarchy in the midst of a war and jump in and help. Meanwhile the Council can only really sit back and watch as two military superpowers make nice with eachother without their influence. I'm VERY interested in seeing how it'll turn out once the Council makes contact. The humans in your story care very little for appealing to the fragile sensitivities of other races so it'll be a funny interaction I imagine. My only point of contention at this point is the extra race introduced. While I do find it intriguing, the idea of a secret ally that only the Turians and Humans know about. At this point they seem to be just... there. No discussion in the previous chapter of where THEIR borders lie. Nor is there any indication that they'll be included in this joint colony idea. Sometimes it feels like you've forgotten about them, and the rest of the time they're just around, but not really important. I do hope this is corrected in the future. Overall though, this is a great story and I can't wait to see it continue. |
Chloe chapter 16 . 5/11 Good chapter, looking forward to the next |
