Delylah, she definitely is a spunky one. I think she really takes after her great uncle in that regard. Telling off Theon plainly, frankly sharing her opinion on marriage with Cat and Tyrion alike. She has heart though too. She seems to have perceived how shy and maybe a bit lonely Rose is, so she took her on a little jaunt around the great hall. I found the conversation between those two very different girls very heart warming. I really hope that their relationship is a focus in this story. Game of Thrones/A Song of Ice and Fire sorely lacks strong, deep female friendships in canon and it would be nice to see one develop here. Delylah's continued bonding with Cat is another relationship that I hope gets a lot of page time. Delylah's questions to Cat about her mother are sweet. I feel Cat could really come to be a strong surrogate mother for Delylah, and when Cat's own daughters aren't with her, Delylah might be able to give Cat some comfort as a surrogate daughter.

Rose is very different from Delylah. She's very much a traditional Westrosi lady, just in her mannerisms, her interactions with Robb. I have a sense that she does like Robb, but she's holding back a lot of her feelings because she feels she has to do her duty and be a demure and proper lady. She seems very lonely. Hopefully as she grows more comfortable with the North, and bonds more with the Starks (And hopefully Delylah) she'll loosen up a bit and let more of her entire personality shine through.

I do have a few questions. Since this story is jointly written, did each author come up with one of the OCs? How does the joint writing process work? Also, why is Edmure dead set on never marrying again?Great update and looking forward to more!

Well marriage is the topic of the day. All three of the young people being told by their older relatives that it's time to settle down and have babies. I guess that's the norm in Westeros but it's an intimidating thought, spending your life with someone you've never met.

Delylah has some sass on her. I loved her meal with her father and uncle. Their little back and forth was fun. It's really sweet to see how much those two love Delylah, and even though she does have certain social and societal expectations on her, it's great that they can speak so openly with her and they respect her enough to give her at least a little autonomy in such a major life decision. Her banter with Robb was fun too. They seem to have a very warm, sibling like relationship. I can't wait to see how their relationship grows and changes as their characters develop.

Rosana we know significantly less about. She seems a bit more reserved than Margeary. Olenna does not have the same grand plans for this granddaughter as she does for her protege. She comes across as a gentler, softer person, closer to Sansa in nature than Margeary. It will be interesting to see how she interacts with the Starks and royals as we spend more time with her. Great intro chapter!

Can't wait to read more.

Awesome beginning I don't see many Tully and Tyrell ocs.

I love seeing how different Delylah and Rose are! Rose is committed to marrying a man of noble standing, and she's demure and sweet. Delylah will marry a man if she has to, but she wants to have more of a choice in the matter. It's interesting to see Delylah interacting with Tyrion, and I hope they'll talk more in the future.

I don’t think you could write a story I don’t like! I love both Delylah and Rosana, they’re an interesting contrast - Rosana is more meek and pliable, willing to bend to Olenna’s will, whilst Delylah is more openly defiant and questions Edmure and Brynden. Rosana is marrying to secure an alliance, whilst Delylah is the one that people will seek out for that sort of alliance. I can’t wait to read more as always.
