Your descriptions really bring out the visceral terror with the mix of ordinary settings seen at unusual times and the supernatural. In many stories, I wonder if Sam and Tucker would be friends if it wasn't for Danny. You show a deep bonding experience with or without Danny's direct participation.

Not being familiar with Mabon, I "Googled it" and it said that Mabon was on the Fall equinox - September 21.

It seems that everyone in Amity Park has some relation to the supernatural. It sort of normalized Danny and this chapter normalized their friendships.

Having everyone be involved in the paranormal in seemingly “normal” (I’m looking at you Dash a la Teen Wolf) is super fun. Your creativity is amazing and I hope you’re having fun with your story. Against I think I’ll repeat this every time I review. I love Sam and Tucker’s friendship soooo MUCH. It just works so well in the way you write it. I think it’s your dialogue. One of the best I’ve seen. You add natural stutters and yeahs that make it seem much more organic. Thanks for the read! I looks forward to the next update :)

I wasn't expecting Dash to turn out to be a werewolf but I guess that is consistent with the supernatural world. In an odd way, it actually engendered some sympathy for Dash that I hadn't expected as I'm not particularly tolerant of his bullying. Sam and Tucker might have laughed, in part, with relief, but he seemed so awkward and scared at being found out.

Sam is also a more dynamic character.

Tucker is also a warmer and deeper character in that he showed understanding where his mother was coming from in her worry rather than childishly protesting that his curfew was unfair.

Thanks for another great chapter as always! I really felt Tucker’s fear when things didn’t go quite as planned with Schulker. And yikes! Poor Danny! I knew it was gonna be bad from last time, but jeez...

Also, I think I might have a guess of where you’re going with this now, but I’m probably wrong. I still don’t really have a clue about who’s the killer, but I really enjoy the mystery!

I'm glad Danny got a chance to clear the air with his friends and explain a bit more how this world works. I really enjoy how Tucker is the center and that the other characters are helping him work with his special abilities.

I already loved Sam from canon (she just holds a special place in my heart ok), but this is making me love her a different way. This is meme Sam. Influenced by meme Tucker. And that I can get behind.

Danny as a portal is not utilized enough! From what I understood when we were first introduced to his “ghost half” was that he looked completely different than Phantom, but he was doing that on purpose to scare them. But here he states that he knows his other persona is kinda hard on the eyes. So...is he just a grosser version of phantom or? I may have to go back and reread.
They forgot to mention he’s psychic lol like that’s not a big deal..

I love your writing it’s so detailed and satisfying and you relate to a lot of day to day things/feelings i don’t know how to describe it but your doing it really well. And I love how you do theyre characters, like off the bat loved how you made Sam a nonbeliever and Tucker the reluctant medium, the dynamic is amazing your execution also amazing. Gah this is SO SO GOOD. The more stories the read, the more I fell in love with Tucker and I’m just so happy he’s our protagonist here. So much has happened! My head is reeling. Can’t wait until they confront Danny. What can he even say? This story isn’t about the ghosts we’re used to...his parents don’t even wear jumpsuits for crying out loud!
Can we talk about how well you captured their teenager-ness? Like, they’re laughing at things that they shouldn’t be laughing at, they’re showing each other memes as they do research about murder, they quote vines and they play Nintendo. It’s all so so perfect.

This is a different Sam than the way I usually see her. Like Tucker, growing up without Danny seems to have made some profound changes even though the many traits that are high lighted in the show are still there. I especially like the way that you show Sam's confusion and conflicts about being rebellious tean-ager. She doesn't really understand why she's reacting the way she is. I can really see that her parents are trying and in their own way are as confused and upset as Sam is.
