Without a doubt, Slytherin, Umbridge, and the Ministry are super pissed off right now! This result in a Battle Royale soon! I gotta say I love your story so far. A lot of interesting turns. And Duncan is really cool. This will be a funny year.
As for Dumbledore, Im unsure. Is he a evil manipulator only interested in his own ends and means, or is he simply a bit misguided because of his greater good nonsense. I'm a bit on the fence here. But I honestly hope that he won't be completely villinjfied in this story. He has his redeeming qualities and I hope he and the Rosenblatts will come to an accord.

There was no reason for him to Destroy the Evidence, even if the marks on Harry's hand would be evidence. Also he could just call a dual of honor based on how your writing it and kill her. Stating after the fact he believed she was the one who sent the Dementor's after him and that she was clearly doing Fudge's bidding or at least he was aware of it.
