5 has always gotten more hate than it deserves.

Loving this story so much more than the actual game. It made the cardboard cutouts of Lasky, Palmer and really the whole cast so far seem like actual people. Can’t wait for more.

Well. This was a refreshing little read. Probably the biggest gripe I had with Halo 5's campaign was the lack of Master Chief. I do like the addition of Palmer into Osiris in favor of Vale. She didn't really do much throughout the game, just a voice to fill in or cannon fodder whenever a Shade Turret got too annoying. This is very well written and I await the next chapter.

So all you did was remove Vale and replace her with Palmer? Strangely enough, I prefer Vale to Palmer in the games, but the way you wrote her is great! I'll be keeping my eye on this one.

As much as all the hate for 5 confuses me ( I loved Halo 5; its amazing, and yes, I have played all the other ones ), this looks interesting.

Yeah man, absolutely continue. The overall story of halo 5 is really interesting but poorly done. Chief going rouge, ONI going after him, even Cortana going evil could of been awesome if done well. I don't know where you'll take this story but you certainly have me hooked, please continue. As far as I know there's no other Halo 5 rewrite which is sad. I personally hope you'll keep the plot points I listed earlier but have them actually work and make sense unlike the game, you certainly seem to have the ability to. However It's your story take us where you want.
