Guest chapter 12 . 12/29/2019
this is unlike any MadaraxSakura fic i've read before

and i love it!

i actually really like how their ages where never mentioned, since it's the warring era its very possible that one or both are minors . in the first scenes of her capture it was clear that her level of training was more for healing then for battle, like when they broke her leg she was ready to give up all her clan secrets
Guest chapter 12 . 12/10/2019
Great story! I binge read it, and even cried when Sakura lost hope.

I'm a bit confused about Madara's reaction to the newborn though. Did his shoulders slump with relief or disappointment?
Marquise de Nile chapter 12 . 11/19/2019
"Never seen", indeed...

I count this is as a pretty damn good ending. But from the start:

I love the symbolism of Madara burning the boat - he's literally burning the birdges, cutting off his past. It's even more significant because the boat is a precious remnant of his friendship with Hashirama. Really clever scene.

I like how Madara opened up so much to Sakura in this chapter. Probably because he could finally allow himself to. No more captive and jailer dynamic between them, they're now on the same side. I remember how in her cell all they talked about were those trivial things. Now there's trust and he can tell her about things that truly matter.

Madara giving Sakura a choice how she will live and raise the baby and whether he'll have any part in it is amazing. He really doesn't do anything halfway, like in this case becoming a good, decent man. He's just so bent on giving back her autonomy, her decision-making. He really learned the lesson - that taking away her choices was what ultimately hurt her the most. And I can see that he understands that if he wants her love, he can't force her. He needs her to choose him of her own will. Btw, from Madara's weird reaction when Sakura said that he didn't pick her for his Rinnegan baby plan I see the implication that he DID choose her. Hmmm, could it be that he was attracted to her from the moment he saw her? Was it in the cell or before her capture? So many possibilities.

It was so exciting when Sakura confesses that now she can start loving him. Very satisfying and profound moment for her character, because for all of this story she was struggling so hard and love really had no place in her horrible situation. Only in freedom, when she can be herself and say what's on her mind without fear, her feelings are allowed to grow.

The details of their journey were once again well-crafted, from changing their hair, to exchanging money and learning some of the language. It's just nice to read about characters being smart and competent :) Btw, Sakura getting upset because Madara called her new hair colour unappealing was golden! Ah, the daily struggle of a young couple :)

I must say the birth scene was good, it just really flowed and wasn't pretentious or cliche. Maybe because it wasn't very descriptive. Sometimes showing too much isn't good and in this case, brevity definitely worked for the best.

Alright, so the ending scene itself. First, their precautions to not let anyone see their child's eyes, then Madara casually grabbing a knife to get rid of the woman who helped with birth if she saw too much - umph, that really showed the gravity of the situation. Madara and Sakura are taking on chances and it's scary - because they are scared and worried about their child. This scene was really intense and gripping. Second, I like how you described Madara checking the child's eyes and his body language when he learns the truth. However, it's ambiguous what he actually feels. It could be relief, but it could be also disappointment, because everything he did for his Rinnegan plan was in the end pointless. Interestingly, you didn't add Sakura's own reaction to the reveal. I guess she would be happy, but there's none of it in the text, it's all left out. So the story actually ended on the shock of the reveal, but without the emotional follow-up which is different and interesting.

Congratulations on finishing the story, it was a real blast to read! You knocked it out of the park with this one! XD

What a daring escape! I love this chapter. The description of Madara's route of escape was really well-done and I could feel the tension and excitement of those moments. Madara's change of heart was unexpected but so satisfying! I'm so happy Sakura's words reached him! His explanation why he did in the end was just so emotional to me, I could feel his sincerity, his true self pouring out there. He wants to be a good man, hell yeah!

I am a little worried about their pursuit. I can't imagine Izuna would take Madara's leaving well. The plan to live normal lives on another continent is unconventional and something I'd never expect from Madara, because he's clearly choosing Sakura and their child above everything else that was ever important to him in his life. In a way, he's abandoning his old dreams, his brother and even the chance to ever be friends again with Hashirama. This is huge for him.

In conclusion: Madara is head over heels in love with Sakura XD

Btw, lol at Madara using Naruto as a decoy and even giving him directions to go home in case he's a real moron. LOL

Fighting, Sakura!

A slow burn, the way i like it.
VeeTee chapter 2 . 10/31/2019
Poor Sakura to be taken away from her home and loved ones. And yet this is the Sakura we know, trying to rational, calm and strong.
Hana-Taisho chapter 12 . 10/31/2019
It took me a bit to read this entire story! But i did love it, My hardest part was Sakura being chained to the ground in the beginning. I'm so glad Both Madara and Sakura got a happy ending!
Thank you so much for this lovely read!
VeeTee chapter 1 . 10/31/2019
In another unverse i can definitely see Tsunade being Sakura's mother and her actually being born into a clan. Oh the suspense...
Guest chapter 12 . 10/24/2019
Thank you for this great story. I really liked how you ended it. Madara tossed away his life to be with Sakura and their baby to live a "normal"/"civilian" life, and their baby ended up being born with the bloodline limit that he had been planning for anyway. I think this really gives them a chance at a good future together.

When as Sakura asked about being in love... I was surprised that she confessed that many of her actions were manipulations. But I like that you chose to keep her honest. And her vow to start falling in love with him was such a poignant touch. I really appreciated that scene.

I do wonder what they left behind in their wake... I imagine there was quite the fall out in the Uchiha clan. And if Naruto made it home, does he bring knowledge of why he was kidnapped? Without Madara (and his friendship with Hashirama), is Konoha something that can happen in this AU?

One of the amazing things about your writing is you never seem to show beyond your character's knowledge. I'm very impressed by your level of restraint. I'm sure you thought about what was going on behind the scenes a lot, and to keep it off the page because this has mostly been Sakura's story/POV deserves acknowledgement. Big thumbs up!

Thanks again for this great story. I hope to read more of your works, and leave lots of reviews.

A sí que no tiene el Rinnegan.
Yomigaeru chapter 12 . 10/20/2019
Oh…Madara said the L words! And glad to see Sakura said she want Madara. If Sakura rejected him at this point. I'm afraid that Madara would fall into a self-loath pit without any possible to get up. I'm so curious about how Madara answered some of Sakura's questions…he acted like he is not choose Sakura by accident and even had nothing to do wether she's a Senju or not. Maybe I was just had a too ridiculous fantasy though, I can't help but wonder if he is implying that he chooses Sakura out of his will and kind of took advantage on this situation to make her hisown… when Sakura try to confort him that he was being forced to do all those things he act a little bit I'll at ease. I'm start to thinking that the first genjutsu Madara cast on Sakura did tell a thing…

Sakura was so strong and brave to deal with the birth with so much calm and efficiency. The scene neighbor's kid peek inside made my heart pop out Oh God. I didn't know why Sakura kept the room in doom light till Sakura ask Madara to check baby's eyes. Unnggg! it's a baby girl ! So precious! Can't wait to see their family life! With Sakura and their daughter Madara will definitely change a lot.
