it's so great to finally see an update for this fic, it's been so long, and man that sucks that you lost your phone with all your notes, but I'm gald that is not stopping you from writing.

the opening scene, while it didn't seem like much, I notice something more that others would miss, that Homura notice how Dogen was acting like he was the head of Hebijo and not just an investor, and found it suspicious that she hasn't seen Reo ,who is the head of the school, for a while, the fact that she finds it suspicious shows just how much of an impact Naruto has had with the Hebijo girls, seeing how she never suspected it in canon until the last moment, and his last comment about Naruto only made her have more doubts about his motive, that is a much bigger change then expected, really looking forward to see if they take action against Dogen sooner, cause when it comes to loyalty to an investor or loyalty to their comrade, the Hebijo girls would always pick their comrade who was there for them, I can even see Homura easily pick Naruto at this point too cause she truly see him as a comrade but won't admit it, such a tsundere especially with the way she denies that she's among the people that loves and cares for him LOL.

also love how you compared all the hijinks with both teams and their comments 'this is suppose an elite team to take down good/evil shinobis' priceless, and now Naruto is being told that they're making their move now, to be honest, I didn't expect this to happen for another 2 to 3 more chapters, this is much sooner than I expected, he still didn't get much interaction with Ikagura and Yagyu, and it would have been nice if he at least reconcile with Hibari and made her comfortable around him again before the betrayal, it would have had a much bigger impact on Hibari if she had, wonder if you're going to also have Hibari change over to Hebijo like in canon, if you do, then that could also be an opportunity for her to reconcile with him and learn that he didn't want to hurt them cause he truly considered the his friends, and by extension learn his past and story that she will pass on to her team so they can understand him better.

and man you really made the tension for the betrayal more intense, you could really feel that Naruto doesn't want to betray them with his dialogue, and at the very least doesn't want the Hanzo girls to be killed, he wants to protect them too, but Rin's words really hit home, he hasn't spend enough time with them to really know them, with the exception of Katsuragi and maybe Asuka, and it hit even more at home considering that he's been deceiving them on who he really is, they don't know the real him or more accurately, they don't know the him that the Hebijo girls know, and he finally realizes that, which is why he told Katsuragi more then he should have with their last hangout or date as Katsuragi would call it.

and man I really felt for Katsuragi here, she finally admitted to herself that she has feelings for him and even talked about running a ramen shop together with him and with the rest of the team as well one day, it was a new dream she was really looking forward too and work hard to make it a reality, she was on top of the world, only for it to get crushed with the reveal of the betrayal, and the way she refuse to believe it and deny that it it wasn't true, that it was one of his usual jokes, only to have blades pointed at her throat at the end, it really hit her hard, especially with her final thoughts, and knowing Katsuragi's past really made my heart feel broken for her, hell even Homura felt pity for them reveal of the betrayal, Asuka felt heartbroken that not just one but two good people she knows betrayed her and are evil shinobi, Hibari was overcoming her fear of him only to find out that he's an evil shinobi, Yagyu was just starting to trust him and was about to open up only to feel betrayed, and Ikaruga truly believe that he was a good person she can place her trust in only to find out he's an evil shinobi, but what Katsuragi felt was much more painful than anything they felt, I really felt for her T.T

and even Naruto feels the pain for betraying and hurting them like this, the life of a shinobi is not for him, who wants and desires friendship, wether they're good or evil shinobi, they are both just as bad, he's better off as an independent shinobi with no faction when this is all over, anyways great chapter, really hits home, looking forward for the next chapter.

This was your best chapter yet. That ending fucking HURT.

If this is trash, then I must be a trashbag for loving the story. Keep up the good work, though I do wish you wouldn't leave off on cliffhangers, especially if it takes you a while to upload a new chapter. But, y'know, that's just personal preference and in no way am I able to control what you do.

I just hope that Naruto does not abandon Hikage and his first group for the other girls just because they are the main ones in his series, the truth is that I like the personality of Boruto's adult Naruto more, that is, I hope he is more mature.

We all knew it was coming... and it still hurt like Hell!
Relatively short chapter, true, but it's well constructed:
- brief introduction to give that "calm before the storm" feeling;
- Naruto agonizing on what to do;
- Katsuragi coming to terms with her feelings;
- the big reveal;
- cliffhanger.

Still, it freaking hurt.
Katsuragi desperate to deny Naruto's betrayal was so emotional.
