| Legendary-Titan chapter 1 . 11/29/2019 This story... This story deserves to be placed upon an alter of gold and lit by an undying flame its so great... It also made me cry. It ALSO makes me cry whenever I see Serizawa's sacrifice scene in the movie. I thought I had gotten over that but this fic reminds me of the importance of that scene and my tears start flowing again. I read this while listing to the track "Goodbye Old Friend" which no doubt increased the impact a hundred fold. Well Done! |

Ishiro's sacrifice reminded me of Daisuke Serizawa in the original Godzilla 1954, when he sacrificed his life to destroy Godzilla with the Oxygen Destroyer. Godzilla made sure Ishiro's sacrifice wasn't in vain, and has risen to once again be known as King of The Monsters. |

King of the Monsters 2019 has definitely become my greatest monster movie in my opinion. I love how you have written this story in Godzilla's perspective, pretty sure that is how he must have felt. |
