I'm dying to know what extra parts of Lucifer's punishment Amendadiel was thinking of. And does Lucifer know what they are? At the very least I would think Amenadiel would have taunted him with the information in the past. And since a little piece of Lucifer is missing now, does that mean Chloe's got a little extra something now?

finally a sequel I remember this story like I read it yesterday... I wanted a sequel for so long ever since I read it 6 to 7 months ago...

It's wonderful to see you writing this story again! I have to confess I had to go back a bit to catch myself up with the story but that only reminded me of what I liked so much about it in the first place. Those three chapters were truly wonderful and I loved the wedding with the subtle undertone of something happening without it being obvious, not yet. I think you have captured two things about Lucifer that are very telling about his character and at the same time fit him perfectly. The first was the detail about him admiring the beauty of the other women the way one appreciated fine art, with it casting no shadow on his love for Chloe. I have to wonder if viewing humanity (and everything else, really) as a creation of his Father's, one that he knew from the very beginning, doesn't add to that particular perception, with people only being viewed on more personal level once he individually gets to know them. In this context, his friends and loved ones (or Chloe not to try to obscure the matter) would be viewed as individuals but humans as such, especially after a few thousands of years would be generally comprised of average or uncommon specimens (still, there could be even an act of defiance in getting to know them as individuals, seeing them not as a creation but a sum of their own choices - and it would explain the other angels' aloofness when it comes to humanity, until they got closer to them). The other thing I meant to mention was Lucifer's treatment of Trixie. I absolutely loved the way he treats his commitments to her seriously but at the same time there is this feeling that of course he would. After all, he values his word and I doubt he would ever treat giving it less than seriously just because he is giving it to a child. Even if, or perhaps particularly because, he doesn't have all that much experience with children and for someone his age the time it takes them to grow up (and the relative age difference between a schoolchild and an adult) is negligible with enough perspective. So even if he gave his word to buy Trixie pink candy floss every odd Thursday I have absolutely no doubt he would treat the commitment seriously (even if it was to the utter frustration of Chloe). But I have a feeling that I digressed slightly somewhere in there ;) In any case, I am very glad that you are writing again. Thank you for sharing!
