Having Holdo be the traitor is kinda cheap. It's possible to be abrasive and rude and still have some right on your side. Having Holdo be evil just feels like you're doing it out of dislike

This might not be a well-written story, but by god, did I feel much better reading this rewrite of TLJ than I did watching the actual movie. Seriously, I had bad vibes about the movie after watching the teaser trailer and the movie proved how right I was (even though I wished my initial assumptions had been wrong). Seeing Luke in this story feels like a better representation of the character after RotJ and it does a better job explaining the rise of Kylo Ren too. I was surprised by the ending of Rey and Kylo Ren in an unholy (albeit reluctant) alliance, as well as Rey being related to Luke without being his daughter (which I may need to think of for my own rewrite of the Star Wars sequel trilogy). My main issue is just the story needs to be better formatted and better written. Again, I prefer this over what Disney actually gave us.

This is a great story! Clearly you should have wrote The Last Jedi, and not JJ Abrams! I look forward to the sequel to this story! :)
