This chapter brought up a couple of things that I never even thought about: the way that Godzilla and Mothra balance each other out, and Mothra getting hot more easily than her mate because of all her fluff. I also never considered how cute it would be if Godzilla used "Mosu," as a nickname, gosh.

I'm weak for Godzilla being absolutely smitten with his queen, and being willing to do just about anything for her if she asks- especially if she gives him puppy eyes. Him carrying her and taking her down to the waterfall was lovely.

I LOVED the line about Mothra looking even more fragile and that making Godzilla feel weak with admiration. Like, are you trying to actually kill me? My heart!

These two splashing each other and horsing around in the water is the cutest thing. At first I was kinda alarmed when Godzilla dragged Mothra underwater, but then I was like oh, okay, she can breathe underwater, she's good. (Can you imagine if some of the people that live on the island saw Godzilla drag Mothra underwater? The first time it happened, they'd probably be like, "Did the king just straight-up try to murder the queen?!" But after they saw it a couple of times, they'd know that the royals were only playing.)

I really liked this chapter, okay!

These oneshots are the sweetest thing! I absolutely needed them in my life.

I love the image of Mothra cuddling against Godzilla's stomach, and pressing her fluff against his scales. Her watching over the king while he sleeps is also really cute.

I think my favorite part of this chapter was Mothra getting low-key grumpy when Godzilla moved, and Godzilla cuddling her so close to him that she felt like she was being cocooned again, gosh.

Coming off of Guest reviews to post as me. Gosh, I haven't left a review on this site in years lol. That is what this fic has done to me.

I know I use the word "cute" a lot when I'm reviewing these oneshots, but this chapter was really stinkin' cute.

I love that Mothra made a large enough flower crown for Godzilla to wear. I also loved the image of her gently nudging him awake, and him groaning sleepily and stretching way out as he comes back to consciousness. When Mothra got flustered over the pet name, I was like SAME. Pet names are one of my favorite shipping things.

Mothra putting the flower crowns on herself and her king was adorable. The fact that he had to lean down to help her reach him more easily- hnnngh. I awwed out loud when Godzilla's tiny ears helped hold the crown in place!

These two cuddling up was another one of my favorite parts of this chapter. (Mothra being small enough to be a pillow/headrest for Godzilla is something I didn't know I needed.) Godzilla loving Mothra's flowery scent and actually purring over how much he loves it low-key murdered me. 10/10.

Just... yeah, a super cute chapter. Thank you so much for writing these.

Oh man! These one shots have really captured my heart! How you've written the characters' interactions and relationship.

As much as I'm a fan of this ship, while there are some good Fics of this, it's rare that I see well-written Godzilla/Mothra Fics like this these days.
