Oooo. Time Lady? Maybe she was on the verge of regenerating but didn't because she was saved in time? Maybe it sort of stopped at the beginning, allowing a slight change in hair color but nothing else before it stopped? As for the forgetting thing, really interested in how both the Doctor and Elissa are going to react the next day. (I love the idea in theory but would hate it in practice - too heartbreaking) Maybe she'll get lucky and it was only happening on Earth? On another note for her forgetting though, is it possible, if she is a Time Lady, that she wanted to forget? In her last moments of living before being 'Elissa' she wanted to erase the memory of Gallifrey burning, wanted to forget all the horrors of war, and regenerated, this time not being able to remember anything from before from that day onward, and it just keeps happening. It probably doesn't mean anything, but Elissa didn't want to work at the hospital. I know she said it was because of her condition, but what if it was deeper than that? What if its because on some level of subconsciousness, she knows she can't get near a hospital? She could have two hearts and never know. She can't make an appointment because she won't remember anything, won't remember to tell them what's wrong with her.

Will the Doctor try to figure out what's wrong with her? I would assume so, because she's become his companion. I can't imagine that he'll just let it lie and not try to figure out what's going on. Speaking of the Doctor, he said he loved the first trip with his companions. Well... now he has a companion that can't remember her first trip, and therefore every trip they go on will be a first to her unless they figure out what's wrong with her memory. (Isn't it suspicious that Jabe didn't manage to scan Elissa before she died? I know in canon it was very clear that Rose was human, but Elissa... not so much)

It's a wonderful story, like many of your stories are. (I will admit I've only read this and the Bonded Saga, but I am planning to read the Lost Girl soon. Not sure about Wanderlust though) I can't wait to read more, and hope you update soon. I really want to know what's going on with Elissa, and how the Doctor is going to react. (Will Elissa even remember the golden glow, because she didn't write it down? Or will it become another thing she forgets?)

Curious about why she was glowing when she was trapped in the room. Makes me wonder if she's human or not. Looking forward to more.
