Levels DO matter when it comes to certain games. Games where you can't avoid attacks (like pokemon or something) means you need high DEF or HP to weather attacks (baring evasion skills or something) but low levels can't do much. Stats do matter to overcome DEF or as I said unavoidable attacks. That said here skill is an important factor, so I can see a lvl 10 link defeating a lvl 72 enemy (so long as he has strong enough equipment. I'm not sure how this universe mechanics work, but if the DEF is too high Link won't be able to damage them. Similarly damage rate and recovery rate is important. Try fighting a Lynal in master mode using only unupgraded bombs, and only 1 type no switching between cubed and sphere. Impossible if they recover HP at a faster rate than they take damage).
I really can't wait to see more. Does link have the master sword, and as a divine construct would it be able to negate the class restrictions? I like to think the bombs are considered more like magic than actual weapons. I mean the heroes can fight with offensive magic so if we consider the bombs to be magic using the slate as a medium it wouldn't be a weapon but a spell bypassing the weapon restriction.
How would Link's strength translate to this world? Link can move boulders, and the other heroes have no such abilities prior to their summoning. Is it negated as he is placed as a lvl 1, or is he lvl 1 with higher stats, or do stats not apply to his true abilities?
Don't worry Naofumi, you have a good ally with you, one who will teach you the shield bash and reflection.

Also, will the masks have powers/abilities like in LoZ Major Masks, as well some created new ones.

For the mute issue I imagine that Link, as a former knight, learned sign language to communicate with others who use it while on his travels and maybe used it when he didn't need to when he wasn't feeling very talkative. I have a headcanon that, since the resurrection shrine was experimental at the time, Link's muscles were preserved but his vocal chords atrophied to point even trying to sound out a single word would be quite painful. That's just my thoughts.

Please, have Link be Naofumi's friend, these poor boys need all the support on the world.

I don't want it to happen, but i have to know if Link has even the slimmest chance of gaining a Curse Series weapon? Link just doesn't seem like the type to let such things consume him.

This was great and seems you have Link his full completed arsenal in Breath in the Wild. Will be nice if Link gives Naofumi a lot of his shields to copy to help give him a big boost as a means of helping him with what happened.
