I feel like losing 15 galleons over some child game is horrible gambling. You could buy 2 wands over that money, something most Weasleys aren't able to do... 15 sicles perhaps, but this amount seems excessive. Kids don't play with that much money.

I don't like the bashing of Hermione, hopefully she will change. Glad, that she didn't die to a troll as in some fanfics.

I don't think that contacts were that common in 1991, but the option was nonetheless possible. Wii console on the other hand did not exist until 2006. They should have played on NES instead. It would be more year appropriate.

This is where you lost me. The story seemed like it had a lot of promise, but more and more you kept on falling into fanon cliches; Family Vault, magical prodigy, moody/edgy Harry. Your Harry is supposed to be a Puff, which I was really excited about, but in reality he’s nothing more than a Slytherin/Ravenclaw, with all of the negatives as well. I could overlook the idea that magical theory (wand motions and incantations) are unnecessary since it’s FFN (even though it totally does matter Le-vi-O-sa), but the appearance of the magical core was probably the last straw for me. It’s your story though, so I’ll just say goodbye and good luck!

Stupid move by Harry. Sabotaging the champion of the host school? Why not Fleur? Now he's going to get tons of (frankly deserved) shit from the students.

I was glad to see the Hogwarts staff get taken to task for essentially abandoning their student to death just to "stick it to a colleague they didn't like" that truly was disgusting and they have the nerve to think themselves exemplary teachers!?

It's a shame they weren't called out like that in canon.
